Not what I was sold

The hotel room was not at all what I was promised. When I made the reservation. I specifically requested a room that would accommodate four full grown people as my children are very tall. I was promised a room that could accommodate a pull out couch bed, a rollaway and a queen size bed for my husband and myself. Not only was the room way to small for a rollaway but the hotel did not have any rollaways even if one could fit. I was offered an additional room for my children but I could not afford to pay for two rooms or I would have booked that in the first place. The room was supposed to be a suite with two rooms and a kitchen dining area. It was about the size of one room cut in half with a dividing wall. We were crowded all weekend. When I made this reservation I could have reserved 3 other rooms at other hotels for $50 less a night but they did not say they could accommodate my family. I was willing to pay the extra because I was promised a bigger room. Very disappointed. When I asked the front office/general manager they said it was because I booked with Expedia and not with the hotel direct.

I'm also sorry the room type that was booked did not meet your needs, regardless of what channel it was booked through. During the time of your stay all of our two bedroom suites rooms were sold out, which left us no opportunity to change ythe room type to another that more adequately met your needs. I assure you, if we had a two bedroom suite available, we would have worked with you to upgrade the room type to make you more comfortable. I'm sorry that we did not meet your needs and I wish you safe and pleasant future travels.

Nice breakfast set up each morning. Loved the computer and printer in the lobby. Able to print my boarding pass for return flight

We were very pleased with our stay here. Clean room,nice ammenities. Location is close to many attractions. Taxis are a bit difficult to get to come to this hotel late at night, it's not exactly on their normal route.

My husband and I stayed here for a night and it was great. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We stayed her before with our wedding party 4 years ago, and we're just as pleased this time as we were then.

Hotel Oversells rooms and tries to move you

Pros: Like all Residence Inns the breakfast is great, social hour is great and the rooms are comfortable.
The hotel often over sells their rooms and then (as the hotel manager stated to me) will try to move the Expedia purchased rooms individuals first to another location. Great hotel, might have this hassle though.

Dear Traveler! I wanted to take a moment and clarify our policy for overbooking the property. I do feel you were mis-informed by one of my associates while you were staying with us. There are times when we do end up becoming overbooked because circumstances dictate it. In those situations sometimes we do need to relocate guests to another property; that said we do not try to do so on purpose. When it does happen we understand it's an inconvenience for any guest to be moved and in the situation where we have no choice we prefer to find a guests who would not mind moving for some form of compensation, by asking folks as they arrive, rather than forcing the last guest of the day to relocate. Like all hotels we do at times end up overbooked on accident, but we do our best in those situations to pro-actively manage it, which is something we do in an attempt to provide good, rather than poor service in an inconvenient situation. Close to Red Rocks

WE chose this hotel because it was only a few miles away from Red Rocks. IT was a pretty standard hotel. Room was clean, service was fine, but nothing really over and above.
