Great Bed!

Great room. Very comfortable bed with good linens. The hotel is under renovation so it is messy, but understandably so.

Dive

Posted Nov 8, 2014
Pros: The day desk clerk was easy to deal with and quickly issued a refund to Expedia for the second night when the night clerk had refused.
Cons: The night staff, the building itself, the rooms, the lighting and security, and the food.
Location: The location was in a bad part of town, which we left as quickly as we could the next morning.
We hated the location and condition of the hotel so much we cancelled our second night. It's really rundown (although under renovation). It's in a seedy part of town, and there were always groups of men hanging out in the parking lot every time we went to our car. My husband thinks a lot of the guests were construction workers doing the renovation or working on the building under construction next door. The night clerk was terrible. She was unhelpful and never answered the phone, so if you're lost and call for directions, it will just ring and ring. We thought the food was mediocre and did not enjoy the "Manager's reception," which was lacking the manager, of course. They do offer limited mixed drinks in addition to beer and wine now (mostly bloody Mary's). You are given 3 complementary drinks each in tiny cups. The indoor pool/spa room was very dark at night, making us feel uncomfortable about using it. In fact, no one was using it when we were there. There was only one elevator, and it was always in use. We felt uncomfortable the entire time we were there.

A great find for the price

Surprisingly quiet considering the location, and extensive breakfast (even though everything wasn't very tasty). We'll be back!

Tolles Hotel

Posted Oct 3, 2014

Man kommt schnell ins Zentrum (ca. 8 Meilen).
