Had to pay extra for parking but it was not explained that Room Key was necessary for exiting parking structure when leaving so we had to go back and have new key issued.

Weekend Trip

Posted Jan 15, 2015
Overall, I would suggest staying at this hotel. It is in walking distance to several things to do in LOD (lower downtown). It is also convenient and close to the 16th St mall. They have a free mall shuttle/bus that will take you from one end of the mall to the other and vice versa. My stay started off a bit rocky. I was placed in a room that already had other people checked into it. That room also had a city view which I wanted. The 2nd room I was given smelled of a mixture of body odor and mildew. The third room I was finally placed in was in good condition. It was not a street view but I was happy to be able to get to sleep. :) Several of the keys to the rooms did not work. Myra was extremely helpful and very apologetic for all of the complications during check-in.

Staff wasn't good at communicating

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Clean and warm and a bit of a buzz.
My parents who are in their 70's took me to stay at this hotel. The young lady at the front desk had no idea how to speak to them about how to use their electronic key or how to find their hotel room. Clearly she thought it was all blindingly obvious. But my parents were confused and uncomfortable. This is not a couple who have lost their mental faculties, they just need another way of being explained and/or shown how to do things.

Beautiful view of the mountains and the city.

Great hotel and staff was great too! I'm from Houston, Texas and wanted a true White Christmas and I got just that. I fell in love with Colorado there are so many hidden spots to experience and the beauty of the mountains oh wow. I'm in oil and gas and I'm thinking this would be a great place to move to. Also, the people are so nice and accommodating and I had a cute tour giuide which I found from a friend. LThis hotel is a great place to stay. Look out Colorado I just may be moving to your beautiful city.
