“Best hotel close to CO School of Mines”

Right in the center of Golden and walking distance to CO School of Mines. Good pizza restaurant, Woody's is across the street. Food at the hotel is decent, not great. Breakfast is extra. No charge for parking!

“Great Hotel for a weekend away....”

PERFECT hotel for a weekend getaway to Golden, CO. Right on the main street and the weekend was filled with parades, car shows and street fair. Walking distance to the Coors brewery and a fabulous free tour. Shops were fun and the locals very friendly. The hotel was quite nice with free covered parking. The room was small but a great king bed and plenty of room for a few days.

It was a great place they were so helpfull in giving us ideas on where to visit and everything.Love the little maps they gave us with evactly how to get to those places. the maid service and desk service was wonderful.

It was like living in the present and stepping back in time to a more comfortable pace. The hotel fit the surroundings well and the surroundings fit me-very well.

Recent addition of foamtop mattress pads and airbeds in the fold-outs has increased comfort at this hotel. Compared with previous trips, this time the staff was extremely cordial, efficient and organized. The southwestern theme throughout and the views of Table Mesa and Lookout Mountain make this hotel a special place to stay.

The hotel and restaurant is tastefully decorated with a Southwestern theme. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Convenient parking in two garage areas. Nice location, well-lit at night & close to walking paths. Breakfast was the only meal we ate there and it was very good and plentiful. Bed comfortable. The large furniture & and layout of the room seemed cramped;however we saw other larger rooms. We'll stay there again when visiting family. Good deal through Expedia.
