Great downtown locationPosted Jun 23, 2015
We really had a great time here altho the tub plug didn't work very well so we showered standing in water...but the free Colorado bourbon tasting & excellent bar & restaurant food made up for that small detail. Spa/salon treatments were fantastic & walking to Union Station was very fun! It's the oldest hotel in Denver with a groovy modern twist! Highly recommend you give it a try!

Great historical hotel in downtown DenverPosted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Everything. Enjoyed the story of the canary they've have always had in the lobby. Probably one of the best staff we've ever dealt with.
Cons: We enjoyed everything.
Location: Great. Very centrally located downtown. Near shopping, restaurants, and pro team fields.
Amazingly friendly and helpful staff.....could answer all our ?'s about the area and gave simple directions. The entire staff was helpful and friendly. Especially enjoyed the tassel and key system as well as the "day of the week" rug in the elevator (very helpful when you're on a long vacation). Hope to go back again some day.

Very nice hotel. We were greeted with a bottle of wine in our room to start our honeymoon stay. Staff was very friendly, always greeting us as we passed through the hotel.

Classy hotel with old world charmPosted May 30, 2015
Pros: So charmed by our stay because of the historical feel of the place.
Cons: Not any that I can see. Keep doing what you're doing.
Location: Neat Union Station, which we departed from on the California Zephyr.
Loved this hotel in every sense of the word. Of course, great location for our California Zephyr Amtrak trip the next day, but, more importantly, a pleasant stay because we seemed to be in a whole other world of comfort and pleasant surroundings.

Great hotel in LoDoPosted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: The historic nature of the hotel, the great service and the location.
Location: Union Station is a block away and has been restored to a wonderful place for shopping, dining, and just relaxing.
Hotel was charming, historic and in a great location. All staff was helpful and offered extra perks, like free early a.m. coffee, free ride to sites within 2 miles of the hotel. An excellent choice for downtown Denver.

Hotel with lots of character in a great locationPosted Apr 20, 2015
Great staff, great hotel. Was disappointed our room didn't have a tub like in the pictures. Carpets had some stains but overall very clean. Comfy bed. Great location. Best hotel staff of anywhere I've stayed before. Downstairs bar was cool. Would definitely stay again.
