Amazing location!

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Cons: The only suggestion would be different shower heads. We had to dance around to get wet.
We booked this hotel for a Denver Broncos game and the location was great. Right across the street from Union Station, which is beautiful, to take the light rail to the game and it's within a short walk to Coors Field, home of the Rockies. Plenty of restaurants and shops on the 16th Street Mall. The staff was amazing from the front door to the room service. The breakfast in bed was our favorite part!

Lovely hotel-not so lovely room

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: The location is excellent.
Cons: Dim Bulbs! Brightest bulb was in closet. Very few towels at check in with 1 bar of soap, triple duty for sink, bath and shower.
Location: Some of the best restaurants in town are within walking distance.
We booked this hotel with Expedia and received an update email from Expedia that this was a VIP property and would give you an upgrade if possible. We were booked into the described standard room which was an interior room with no view. It was quite small with dim bulbs, very much like a small New York City hotel room. We had a great deal of luggage with us and were not too happy with the tiny closet with about 5 hangers. The weather was very rainy and soon we realized we were practically the only guests in the hotel, certainly the only ones on our floor. With this situation, I don't understand why the hotel couldn't have upgraded us to a better room. They said they did upgrade us from a room with a queen to a room with a king bed.

Great place to stay for a Rockies game!

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The Oxford staff fit the hotel as well in decorum and dress, which we appreciated. They were very approachable and cheerful.
Cons: The evening dining room server needed refinement in her appearance & service. Breakfast server was great!
Location: We came for the Rockies game. It was a great location!
We only stayed one night after the Rockies afternoon game. the hotel was quite lovely: It was tasteful, had character, was very clean and quiet.
