“My new "home" in Denver!”
First and foremost, if you have time to plan your trip, "monitor" the price of this on Expedia. I got it on sale for a ridiculously low rate.
I requested a handicap accessible room with shower chair/bench, but this message somehow didn't get through. This was easily rectified at check in so it wasn't a problem that warrants any kind of negative rating. The accessible room had a bathtub with no type of shower chair (kind of strange) so I went back to the front desk to inquire about this. They weren't able to locate the shower chair that had been in there previously so they went out and purchased one which shows a good commitment to customer service. The room was clean, pleasantly decorated, had ample room to live in and had a full kitchen and a full size set of cookware with3 table settings. Fabulous bed!
I was there for a vacation that included a Broncos game. This hotel is less than a mile from the Dry Creek Light Rail station - it takes you within about 1/2 mile of the stadium for less than $5 round trip. You can also take it right to Union Station and then grab the free 16th Street Mall shuttle which essentially takes you within walking distance of most downtown destinations. In fact, I found it even more convenient travel-wise than staying at this same hotel's downtown location because of the Light Rail. In fact, I'm pretty sure when I am in Denver from now on that this will be the hotel I will use for all these reasons. Kudos!
