Great place for some quiet retreatPosted May 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
We booked this place by accident thinking it was the Bulls Head in Castleton. However, it was a nice find. The neighbourhood was quiet and the Inn was comfortable and cozy.

Walkers paradisePosted Apr 23, 2014
We walked here from Buxton and after a fantastic 20 mile route taking in the monsal trail we just needed somewhere to recover before another 18 miles the following day..... But when we entered we were greeted by the very friendly staff and owners and show to our fantastic room. A quick cleanup and back down to the great atmosphere of the bar for some local ales. The food was amazing and a great choice and good value. A few more ales and I slept like a baby. Breakfast in the morning is just as high standards and the staff as friendly as ever. We will certainly be back as a great base to some fantastic walks....

Lovely cosy country pub.Posted Jan 1, 2014
When we arrived at The Bulls Head, we were given a friendly welcome and shown to our room. The room was bright and clean, large and newly refurbished with a flat screen TV and beautiful bathroom. Dinner was really goon in the country pub style and there was a good choice of beers. Only a couple of negatives, the bed was too hard and the breakfast time was early and rigid...8.30 prompt.

Good base to stay in Peak DistrictPosted Nov 9, 2013
A very nice pub with rooms to serve as a base for a stay in the Peak District. Excellent choice of food, with generous portions and efficient service. Lovely olde worlde surroundings near the picturesque village of Eyam. I can thoroughly recommend the Bulls Head Inn for a weekend break in this beautiful countryside.

Absolutely lovely hotelPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had not been to Foolow before, it was a place we found on a map and decided to give it a try. The Bulls Head was a delight. A country village pub at it's best. The room was very clean. The staff very helpful. The menu in the restaurant was more varied than you'd expect. The food itself was excellent. The Hotel only has 3 bedrooms. So book in advance. Overall. Very, very good value for money.

Pros: Food and service was great
Location: Good for touring the Peak District
We were really well looked after. Dinner was excellent. Staff friendly. Good atmosphere in the pub. Great out-of-the-way location but a good spot for visiting local attractions.
