“Briliant of its type”

Cracking example of a modern stylish mid range hotel with classy touches. Very nice public areas, extremely comfortable room, stylish restaurant with excellent food (dinner and breakfast). Only doubtful feature was coffee at breakfast which let the standard down.

“One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in!!”

Well there is nothing negative to say about this hotel, it was just superb. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The Barca bar was really lovely we had a meal and lovely coffee. We were given coffee on the house, due to it being our first wedding anniversary, which was a lovely touch. The room was lovely with everything you would need, it was nice to have a fridge with fresh milk and cold water. The bed was so comfortable, well worth the money. We could not fault the breakfast, there was everything to choose from, delicious!! We would definitely recommend the hotel and we would definitely stay there again, but maybe treat ourselves to the penthouse.

“Overnight stay!”

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we felt very welcome. All the staff were extremely helpful. The room was superb. We have nothing but a great feeling for this hotel. Just wish we had been staying for more than 1 night.

“Very nice place to stay”

Really nice place to stay. The bed was great, very comfortable and specious. There is a small fridge in the room which helps if you want to have a glass of wine with your partner. And the breakfast was superb. Very nice food. The reception staff seemed to be a bit confused sometimes. I could feel lack of professional experience especially when payment for my room was processed by Expedia. But I hope to have a chance to stay there again.

“Great for a weekend break in Chesterfield”

CASA hotel is a modern, clean, comfortable hotel near the centre of Chesterfield which definitely earns its 4 stars. Beds are like sleeping in a cloud, the staff can't do enough for you and the designers have ticked a lot of boxes that many hotels in London and on the continent always miss - plugs next to the full-length mirror for GHD-users, complimentary milk and water in the mini-bar, a channel listing card for the TV, lowlight in the bathroom for nighttime visits, ironing board/iron in the huge wardrobe which has proper hangers you can take out rather than those horrid hooky ones which are like a Krypton Factor game. The wine glasses, cookies and coffeehouse cardboard cups for taking a drink with you were a nice touch and the Barca bar downstairs is good for pre-night out drinks and is open all night for hotel guests. Nice buffet breakfast (hot/cold), only complaint would be that on our visit there were no glasses out for juice or bowls for cereal/fruit and I had to ask several members of staff for these until someone finally bought some out 10 mins later. I think they were understaffed which may not normally happen. Did not try restaurant but menu looked lovely. Overall will definitely stay again, planning to try the fat-boy penthouse with hot tub next time I visit :)

“Casa Chesterfield”

Pros: lovely staff, comfortable room, fab bed! Cons: couple minor maintenance issues which didn't spoil a one-night stay but would annoy over a longer period
