Pros: Kept character of building. Beautiful staircase+ stained glass windows.
Cons: Lighting in bedroom.
Location: Very central for shops + restaurants. Museum within walking distance.
Our double room was very small. Only 1 bedside light, and a very dull main light on the wall. Bathroom also small.

Ok hotel but needs work

furniture in room was old and tatty. Bed was stated as a queen but was actually a double. Breakfast was tasty bit small portions. Staff not overly friendly or helpful

Don't trust the staff!

Was promised an early breakfast at 7 in our room as my son had a swimming gala, but it did not appear and was told that I should never have been promised it in the first place. Staff didn't offer to help at all. We left. Thankfully Weatherspoons came to our rescue. No hospitality whatsoever!

Building nice from outside/welcoming inside, room a little dated, very dark, needs a little touching up, but pretty clean. Bar is lovely, nice atmosphere, great staff, AMAZING COCKTAILS! Beautiful staircase too! Would return just would book in advance instead of last minute to hopefully get a better room!

Overpriced, tired, disappointed in general :

I really thought we were checking into a boutique hotel, especially with the price. The room decor was very average and corporate, it desperately needs a refresh as curtains were falling apart, bath panel was coming away, shower was covered in limescale. The king size bed was very comfortable but as we were 4 people we booked a suite, the sofa bed was small and uncomfortable, springs etc. a beautiful building with so much potential. The one thing I thought might save the day was the breakfast. The quality was so poor I couldn't believe the sausage was of a Richmond type quality. Missing items off breakfast, had to wait for toast. Cheap sliced bread, not freshly squeezed orange juice. My friend ordered boiled eggs and soldiers and got fried eggs and Un-buttered soggy soldiers (quite hard to butter once they are in soldiers!!!) it was utterly disappointing :-(

Really disappointing.

Pros: Nice entrance and staircase
Cons: see above
Dimly lit & cold. Restaurant was closed and so we ordered food from the lounge bar. 10 mins later the waiter cam back to tell us the hotel had no vegetables! Wow! Never heard of of that one before. Room ok but quite noisy hum through the night from the air con. Quite overpriced for what it is - its not a boutique hotel its a small, cramped, cold and dim one I'm afraid.

Pros: Die Lage ist ideal.
Cons: Die Qualität des Essen.
Location: Das Hotel liegt im Stadtzentrum. Man kann leicht einkaufen gehen.
