enjoyable stay, staff very friendly. However breakfast Sunday morning had several problems, lack of cutlery, napkins, long wait for cooked breakfast, constantly running out of juice, milk.....baked beans and tomatoes when short were brought in an overfull bowl and emptied into container. Consequently the bowl spilled causing a slippery floor. If the bowl was carried on a tray it may have reduced the risk. Additionally the cheese was out of date.....Good locaton

Central to the townPosted Jul 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel was fine room good and clean . Restaurant food was adequate if not exciting. Pedestrian access to surrounding area was limited. You either had to cross the exit lane of a very busy roundabout or use a footbridge which went a long way in the wrong direction. Vehicle access was fine with roads nearby to all major routes

Pros: Easy to find
Cons: Having to go to the roundabout to leave the hotel
Location: Excellent for visiting Chesterfield
Friendly, attentive staff at a hotel with an ideal location. Excellent start to our holiday.

ReasonablePosted Jul 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
Only stop for a single night so it's head down and out in the morning. Even so, it has everything you might need; rooms are ok and comparable to other similar hotels; there's a bar and TV in the lounge area and breakfast available in the morning. Right in the middle of Chesterfield so shops and pubs etc on your doorstep. Only negative is trying to get a space in the car park if you arrive late - used it a few times now and rarely managed to get a legitimate space. That apart, as the title reads, reasonable.
