“Best B&B I've ever stayed in”
This was a fantasitc B&B well worth the money. Beautiful room and a really good location. Breakfast was to die for. Would gladly recommend this to anyone and would defintely stay again.
“Fab stay.”
Really nice stay, would be 5's alround but the bathroom had no door! I know my partner very well but i thought if i hadnt then it could have been embarrasing. This was one of the best breakfasts ive had anywhere.
“Not worth the money!”
Although rooms were nice, the water was at scalding temperature. It is not a proper hotel, just a restaurant with a few rooms upstairs. The breakfast was not a proper hotel breakfast, there was a waitress to take orders who didn't understand English well so got 2 out of our 3 orders wrong. Not impressive. Not worth the money.
“Not impressed”
Difficulty gaining entry. Had to call a phone number posted on the door. Phoned this number twice before gettng an answer and then someone came to admit us. However, owner was asleep drunk inside and as a result the person who arrived to let us in struggled to find the key for our room as they could not wake the owner. Ths was around 6.30pm. This was eventually resolved and we were shown to the room. However, this is the worst welcome I've ever experienced. At breakfast the following morning, the owner offered no apology for the service at arrival until I mentioned it to him, and then he did apologise. The establishment advertises itself as a friendly one, however, the owner had little conversation with us for the rest of our stay, never asked how things were etc. Room not serviced first day and no explanation given for this. Other staff were friendly but we have been left with a poor overall impression of the place.
