“Good hotel, booking information to staff a problem”
Hotel very confused about billing. Our booking included a free dinner, bed and breakfast all paid for in advance - unfortunately we had to prove this by producing the paperwork on a couple of occasions, e.g. when trying to claim our free dinner. Restaurant staff also thought we were on a company account (which we weren't) etc. After retrieving the paperwork from our room to prove what we had booked, we were given the menus and ordered, but when the food was being cooked we were told we had been given the wrong menu. On the second day we were asked to pay for breakfast which we had paid for with the booking. Staff were friendly enough but struggling with the information they had to work with. Hotel itself was fine, clean, quiet and good parking. Shame about the booking hassle.
