“Don't be fooled by the polished website!”
Online the place looks great - carefully taken photos & a good choice of words clearly all helping to oversell the place. The reality is poor in comparison. Is it a hotel or a pub? A pub with guest rooms at best. Double room with a double bed? No! An oversized single and not a comfortable one either. Fine dining? Well the menu looks great, the descriptions carefully chosen and prices to match...but the chef was obviously experimenting with odd food combinations. It's not good value for money at all. The prices are excessive for what you actually get. The owners live elsewhere - odd that they don't live on-site...is there a problem with the place? On the plus side... The bar & hotel staff were very friendly :-)
