Decent hotel for business trips.Posted Aug 19, 2013
The rooms are spacious and clean. The only downside is the lack of plug sockets in the room. The hotel is close to the interstate but does not suffer from any of the noise meaning good transport links but restful sleep.

Door lock was broken, key card did not workPosted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
After we checked in, on the way to the room we walked up the back staircase which was filled with a musty smoke smell. It was awful. On the second floor, the smell improved slightly. Upon trying to access our room, the key card didn't work. I went to the front desk, she re-keyed the cards. Tried again - still didn't work. Went back down, now she sends maintenance up. Turns out the lock is broke, not accepting any magnetic cards. How could they have not known this before putting me into that room? Surely the lock had been broken for the last guest to stay in that room. They didn't have any other rooms available, so they said... We were forced to stay in our room the rest of the night, to avoid having to call maintenance whenever we wanted to get back in. In the morning, we just packed up and checked out during breakfast to avoid getting locked out. Will not stay here again.

Nice hotel, but they need to stay on top...Posted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Anyone booking this hotel should make sure to get QUEEN size bed, as I don't think this hotel has many as most of them are double. As for this hotel to stay on top, they need to attend to maintenance and not cut corners. The side entrance on the west side was "rigged" to be open as the key lock didn't work. Someone took out the "rigging" and was locked, I spoke to the front desk and they said maintenance would work on it. Some zip ties and it was open for GOOD - security is NOT something in this hotel with zip ties that holds the door open for anyone! Upon checkout I mentioned it the the clerk said that they have tried to repair it but no matter what, it doesn't stay fixed. Other things that we noticed - the door going from the breakfast area to the pool area looked to be messed up and caused the door to be difficult to open at times. The toaster seemed to only "warm" up the bread instead of making actual toast. The beds were very squeaky too - any movement would cause it to squeak and make difficult sleeping IF you are a light sleeper. Overall I think we'd look for a different hotel, but would try again in the future IF the rate was right AND we could get a queen size bed!

A family hotelPosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
We, like many of the hotel guests, were there to visit the state fair. Unfortunately that meant most rooms were filled with kids, babies, etc. That said, it wasn't terribly noisy as I had feared. Breakfast was a little below par. Biggest complaint was the beds. Very bouncy and cheap. Probably would not stay there again--sorry, I'm almost 60 and need a good bed.

Comfortable, nice location, beautiful lobby. Breakfast was good, if nothing fancy--waffles, cereals, buscuits/gravy. Front desk friendly and helpful. Pool was very nice. Everything was clean. Would definitly stay again.
