“Owned by Marriott? They may want to rethink that.”
I stayed here because the Marriott across the street was full. And for a Marriott chain and the amount I paid for the room, I expected a lot more. First, it was difficult to know where to turn into the parking lot, but I eventually found it. The desk clerk was friendly at check in, but disappointment set in afterward. The hotel was overrun by children leaving puddles throughout the lobby. I almost slipped getting to the elevator. The bathroom in my room didn't have any toiletries stocked and had a strange smell (that did go away after running the fan for a few hours). The TV was an old 25" box with discolored picture. The room was big, but not furnished with anything other than a bed, dresser, small desk and small chair. Major waste of space. Also, there was no luggage stand so I had to use the desk to unpack. Finally, the bed slanted. Location was good for me, but that's it. I won't be staying there again. Plenty of other choices.
