“A Solid Choice”

The hotel is newer, clean, conveniently located right off the highway, and very affordable. It lived up to all expectations and really had no errors.

This pet friendly hotel was in the perfect location!! Tons of space to walk your dog and eateries with outside seating in easy walking distance. The service was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was available all day and in to the night!! The room was cheerful and clean. I am very picky about hotel beds and this one was SO comfortable!! I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to knowing exactly where to stay on my next trip.

“Great Stay for the Money”

We enjoyed our three nights at the Microtel. The location is convenient, the staff friendly and the room clean. The bed was not the most comfortable but it was also not the worst we have seen. The breakfast buffet lacked any interesting items. Just bagels, muffins and cereal. However, the price was incredible and the savings allowed us to enjoy several excellent meals in the city.

Stayed here overnight on my way to Wisconsin from Colorado. Very happy with this Microtel. Only negative was that the treadmill wasn't working in the fitness room. I was surprised to find a continental breakfast in the morning, I was respecting it. I would stay here again.

“Nice room - Good price”

Nice suite. Close to the interstate. Easy to find. A couple of chain restaurants that we could have walked to. On the other side of the interstate we found a Texas Roadhouse (for a quick drink), a Village Inn (for a very good hot breakfast) and a Starbucks (that was open until 11pm on Saturday night for a nice hot beverage to end the day!). We plan to stay here again.

“Will stay there again”

We we just travelling through Des Moines (which we do often). This hotel was very clean. We had a suite room with a kitchenette, which was handy with a baby. The entire hotel is non-smoking, but our room smelled like smoke. That was my only complaint.

“Good place to stay for the Living History Farm Run”

I came into town for the annual Living History Farm Run (the largest cross country run in North America) and had a wonderful stay. The establishment was easy to find and located within a short walking distance to a Ruby Tuesday and the Overtime Pub. It is also a ten minute drive from the Living History Farm. I was very happy with my room as the bed was comfortable and clean and the lounger on top of the window sill was a cool thing. The staff was attentive and helpful.

we came with 3 small kids. they loved the room. breakfast was not much but that is normal for our price range. great price! helpful staff. no complaints.

We spent one Saturday night with three grandchildren. Everything was topnotch. A longer stay with the children might have been a little boring for them but we were only looking for lodging and score it an A+.
