Rooms were a very good size and very comfortable. Great beds. Hair dryer needed some power. No tea and coffee facilities. Hotel very clean. Food good quality however evening buffet Euro 30 a head. Lake front area wonderful with stunning views.
Spa lovely but water could have been warmer. Close to nice restaurants and bars so great location.
Good hotel but could have been great with a few tweaks.

Lovely, friendly hotel with excellent location. We had a balcony overlooking the lake which I would strongly recommend. Staff were excellent and went out of there way to help out with any requests, from room service to advice and help on travelling around the area.

We spent an extremely comfortable week at the Nazionale, which was pleasingly stylish, clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious, the air con worked perfectly and the view of the lake over the rooftops was always interesting. We faced the road, but never heard it at night, and our room was cool during the day as a consequence, unlike poolside rooms. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast on the terrace each morning was a delight, and the walk down into town just the right distance to work off the calories consumed each day.
There are bus stops immediately in front of the hotel, and the railway station is a 10-minute stroll away (slightly uphill). Can't fault it.

we recently had a seven night stay at this hotel with my wife and three children 12, 13, and 15yrs. We stayed in their three bedroom apartment The hotel is in a great position for a family holiday on Lake Garda. We found the hotel to be very well run, great breakfast and very good staff, very nice pool area, underground car parking. We would highly recommend this hotel.

"Nice hotel in peaceful and pleasant surroundings."
Being the week after Easter the hotel was very quiet, which actually suited us. The hotel is situated in an upmarket residential area but is within easy walking distance of the town centre and harbour.

Desenzano is one of the liveliest and most cosmopolitan lake resorts. Its pretty little palm-fringed harbour is lined with restaurants and cafes, and the narrow streets off the attractive arcaded piazza are filled with fashionable shops. The weekly market is very popular. Shingle beaches lie to either side of town and Gardaland, Italy’s biggest and most popular theme park, is only 20 kilometres away.
