    Pocket Guide: Arizona

If you plan on traveling to the southwest part of the United States, Arizona is a state that you probably don't want to miss. When booking Arizona hotels, there is so much to consider doing that it can be hard to fit it all into one trip. Before you book anything, here are a few things that you need to know about making a trip to Arizona.

When it comes to traveling to Arizona, it doesn't really matter when you come. The climate is pretty much always the same although it does get hotter in the summer. Most of the state has a hot and dry climate year-round, giving it a unique landscape.

When you are trying to find hotels in Arizona to make reservations at, you need to figure out which part of the state to stay in. The Phoenix area is a very popular metropolitan region with professional sports teams like the Arizona Cardinals and the Phoenix Suns. There are many Arizona hotel packages that will allow you to explore the Phoenix area.

Some cheap hotel deals in Arizona are situated in more remote locations that will allow you to explore the natural formations in the state. For example, the Grand Canyon is one of the most popular destinations in the United States, and it is located in northern Arizona. Some Arizona hotel deals will give you access to guided tours of the canyon and the surrounding area.

You may also want to take advantage of a cheap Arizona hotel deal that will give you a tour of the Painted Desert. This is a natural formation made by mountains and hills that appear to be painted from the distance. It is consistently rated as one of the best natural attractions in the southwest. Another top rated attraction is the Meteor Crater. This massive crater was created when a meteor made contact with the surface.

If you are looking for rooms that will give you access to special prices and rates, you may want to stay close to one of the many national or state parks. For instance, the Saguaro National Park or Camelback Mountain are popular areas to visit in Arizona. Some hotels make it possible to receive a special discount on access to these areas. Once you reserve your accommodations, you can start looking forward to your trip to the southwest.

"A hidden oasis amidst the dry desert heat"
Pulling into the valet area you are greeted with an openness and warm feeling of normally reserved for only the highest level of seasoned traveler. Upon entering the Casino and being whisked into the checkin area with subtle hints of lavender and jasmine, you are initially handed a Tahitian sunrise margarita by any one of the multitude of gracious cocktail servers. At the checkin counter you can expect nothing but a myriad of the warmest most friendly smiles the hot dry desert can offer with what can only be described as "F1 speed" in getting you through the line and onto the casino floor on the way to your room. Making the transition from checkin to your room is nothing short of a journey unto the senses. Delectable smells and sights abound the eyes and nose as you cascade the casino floor toward the elevator towers that will briskly rise you to your home away from home for you stay. Rising in the elevators, one can only wipe away the tears that views of the vast nothingness that is the laughlin desert bring on. Upon exiting the elevator doors you are stricken with a sense of monotony as you try to make sense of the never ending labyrinth of identical hallways that make up the hotels inner bowels. Arriving at your rooms front door, you will gently but with viscous abandon, slide in your electronic key card to open your door and be greeted by what can only be described as a mini Shangri-La amongst the vast Nevada skyline. You are home my dear child, rest easy.

"Golden Age Movie Star Treatment "
Quite possibly the best hotel experience of my life. We felt like we had stepped back to a different age. I kept expecting to meet Clark Gable or Marilyn Monroe at the poolside or in the dining room. Everything was immaculate and authenticly "1940". The service from the "late checkin cookies ant hot cocoa" in the room right through our last morning (when we reluctantly had to leave) was outstanding. Simply beautiful, relaxing and my idea of real luxury. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
