    Pocket Guide: Arizona

If you plan on traveling to the southwest part of the United States, Arizona is a state that you probably don't want to miss. When booking Arizona hotels, there is so much to consider doing that it can be hard to fit it all into one trip. Before you book anything, here are a few things that you need to know about making a trip to Arizona.

When it comes to traveling to Arizona, it doesn't really matter when you come. The climate is pretty much always the same although it does get hotter in the summer. Most of the state has a hot and dry climate year-round, giving it a unique landscape.

When you are trying to find hotels in Arizona to make reservations at, you need to figure out which part of the state to stay in. The Phoenix area is a very popular metropolitan region with professional sports teams like the Arizona Cardinals and the Phoenix Suns. There are many Arizona hotel packages that will allow you to explore the Phoenix area.

Some cheap hotel deals in Arizona are situated in more remote locations that will allow you to explore the natural formations in the state. For example, the Grand Canyon is one of the most popular destinations in the United States, and it is located in northern Arizona. Some Arizona hotel deals will give you access to guided tours of the canyon and the surrounding area.

You may also want to take advantage of a cheap Arizona hotel deal that will give you a tour of the Painted Desert. This is a natural formation made by mountains and hills that appear to be painted from the distance. It is consistently rated as one of the best natural attractions in the southwest. Another top rated attraction is the Meteor Crater. This massive crater was created when a meteor made contact with the surface.

If you are looking for rooms that will give you access to special prices and rates, you may want to stay close to one of the many national or state parks. For instance, the Saguaro National Park or Camelback Mountain are popular areas to visit in Arizona. Some hotels make it possible to receive a special discount on access to these areas. Once you reserve your accommodations, you can start looking forward to your trip to the southwest.

    "Radison Phoenix Airport stay"
Very nice hotel- room was great - price was right. The only negative was food service - most hotels of this calibre have hot breakfast - this one does not, so we stopped at McDonalds. We had dinner there and it was ok but expensive.

    "Truly a delightful experience!"
Couldn't have been more pleased with the Omni. Situated at the base of Camelback Mountain, our room was back in the peaceful tranquility of Building 10. We were on the bottom floor at the end of the building so there was no traffic at all. We had the back patio doors open every chance we could manage, letting the sounds of all the lovely birds and wildlife shine through. Spent several late afternoons/evenings in Prado soaking up the bar action. The Prosecco was delish! Even saw Peter Bogdanovich our last night there :) We only spent a bit of time in the evening at the adult pool. Our days were too busy going to Spring Training games. The main Kasbah pool was filled with lots of sunbathers and just a few kids. Everyone seemed really respectful of the noise level. Cabanas looked very inviting.

    "Great Value"
I just got back from my first trip to Laughlin. I usually stay in downtown Vegas and thought I would mix it up a bit. The main reason for the trip was to get a long ride on my motorcycle so I was not really expecting much from the hotel or town in general. To my surprise my stay at the Tropicana was awesome. Lets be honest,s it's no 5 star place but it doesnt claim to be so if thats what you are looking for then maybe its not for you. For me though I could not have been happier. My room was in the promanade tower, I guess thats the older tower and it was perfectly fine . Clean, quiet, could not ask for more. What really sold me on the place was the people. Customers and workers alike seemed to be right at home here and they were all extremely friendly. I dont ask for much and make no demands on them other then a cocktail and they didnt fail me there either. They could not have been nicer at every interaction. A real pleasure to be around. I am really glad I chose the Trop and am already making plans to be back in a few months.

"Riverview room right on the 4th floor. Very nice."
We originally booked a standard room with Queen size beds but when we arrived they up graded us to a river view room with a king size bed. We had a nice balcony overlooking the River, and they gave us complimentary 2 for 1 Buffets. We had a wonderful Anniversary Trip and will definitely stay here again.

    "Golden Age Movie Star Treatment"
Quite possibly the best hotel experience of my life. We felt like we had stepped back to a different age. I kept expecting to meet Clark Gable or Marilyn Monroe at the poolside or in the dining room. Everything was immaculate and authenticly "1940". The service from the "late checkin cookies ant hot cocoa" in the room right through our last morning (when we reluctantly had to leave) was outstanding. Simply beautiful, relaxing and my idea of real luxury. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
