    "Charming hotel with great service"
Very nice! The location of Maison Rouge is ideal for walking to all of the sights of Strasbourg. They have done a wonderful job of soundproofing an old building so that it is easy to get a good night’s sleep. Nice sitting area in the lobby as well as on each floor. The hotel staff was very accommodating. I had used Expedia’s app for the first time, accidentally booked the wrong date and even though it was non-refundable, the hotel did provide me a refund. We had intended to stay the next two nights. When we stayed an additional third night they were able to keep us in the same room. There are patisseries nearby so that it is easy to grab a breakfast which is far less than what the hotel charges. I highly recommend Maison Rouge and would stay again.

    "A stay in Petit France!"
This lovely hotel is situated right by the river in the Petit France section of old town Strasbourg. Finding the hotel can be a bit tricky as it has a small sign and is situated at the end of a pathway. Best way from the train station is to walk straight out the main exit, along the main street, across the river and hang the second right - go all the way to the end and you see the hotel in front of you - total wallking time - 10 minutes. The hotel has a very popular restaurant so be sure to reserve a table. Stayed in one of the beautiful loft rooms which had ample space and a very spacious washroom/shower.

    "Great hotel, great location"
The hotel is in the Petite France section of historical Strasbourg, walkable to anything you want to do. The rooms are large, bathrooms are large and very modern, lots of windows mostly looking out on the River Ill. The building was a 100-year old ice factory and all of the huge machines are there still, kept as a kind of museum to the ice-making industry with changing color lighting on them at night. We didn't try the restaurant; they had "Mexican night" when we tried, which we didn't want to eat while in France. We walked to a bakery for breakfast so didn't try that either. Staff was helpful, kind, friendly. We were over a street which was a little noisy one night but not too bad. Most of the rooms are over the river though. You have a parking option of valet parking in an outside lot for 10 euros or 20 euros in a parking garage. There is some street parking in the area but difficult to find.
