California Hotels

The rooms were nice comfy and clean for my whole family. Location is perfect, however $50 for parking per day is a bit expensive I think.

rooms clean, needed extra towels staff went out of their way to help when not his job. call down for little extra things & response time within what you would expect. stayed at the Hilton the night before because I could not get a room for all nocs with you. have to say staff not as friendly, fee for car is too much. did not get a chance to eat at your restraurants, schedule was to hectic & children add to the mix.

The hotel was amazing and staff was very friendly and always available to answer questions. We were even able to get a late check out on the last day of our stay. Alice checked us in and was so sweet and engaging. Our room had an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge, thanks to her! Thank you!

Loved the location....walk to everything downtown and close to the Staples Center. The staff was absolutely the greatest. Rooms were very comfortable including the bed. There is a restaurant in the hotel which was well attended but never tried it. Great kept secret in downtown LA especially for the price.

Beautiful hotel, exceptional service! Stayed for several days for a cancer walk. The location was perfect, and the room comfortable and well appointed. We were given a nice upgrade from the wonderful front desk staff, and everywhere we went, the employees went out of their way to greet us, ask us if there were anything they could do, and generally just made our stay top notch! The only negative we would say, was the "courtesy car" for transportation within a specified area, was completely a waste of time to try to access, and when we did, they driver we had was discourteous, and made us feel like he had better things to do! Take a cab, or park your car - more expensive, but easier! I wish we could remember his name, because the rest of the valet staff was so wonderful, that we would not want any of them to be put into the "discourteous" category! The floor of the shower was also curiously dirty, a little bleach would probably fix it, but overall the rooms are fantastic! We would stay again, we usually stay at the Sofitel in Bev Hills, but i think we have found a new winner!

great hotel, great location, spacious room, staff most helpful

Amazing place. Location is probably the best in San Diego, very close to many attractions more than any hotel. The breakfast was excellent and reasonable for the amount you eat. The staff were amazing and aa were very friendly.

The Sofia is a lovely boutique hotel in the Gaslamp District and walking distance to the waterfront. Some of the rooms face the brick facade of another building which is unfortunate. We were able to switch rooms, and the staff actually gave us an upgrade from a full to a queen room at no extra charge. My husband and I spent four nights at the hotel and really enjoyed our stay.
