Nova Scotia Hotels

I was very satisfied with my stay. I paid $159+tax for my double double room. For that price, I got a lot of value. It was attractive, well-appointed and very quiet. The ventilation system was quiet and the windows also opened. The flat screen tv was good. The bed was comfortable and the bedding (duvet) was the right warmth. This is a full-amenity hotel. As a result, they have anticipated almost any need a person would have. The staff were well trained without exception. They contributed to the tone, which was one of comfortable excellence. I used the fitness room (nothing fancy but very adequate, good exercise bike), the business centre to print my boarding pass as well as a map to one of my destinations (both Mac and PCs, easy to use, free printing, no complications), there is a pub and a restaurant, a lobby where you can sit pleasantly, it's designed at a human scale to facilitate meeting others. Across the street is the Public Garden, which was immaculate - a highlight was getting breakfast around the corner and enjoying it in the gardens. I also used their airport limo service which was excellent. The location is in the downtown, whatever the hotel does not have can be obtained within a block or two. In my weekend stay, there were really no inconveniences I can think of.

very clean and great hospitable staff the will help you in any way to have a great experience in their hotel. thumbs up to this hotel. The only draw back is that you have to pay to park in the hotel even if you are staying their, other than that the hotel and staff were great.

This hotel was an excellent choice. Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, awesome courtyard and great location. I'm not a fan of having to pay for having more than 2 people in a room but *shrugs*

Front desk staff were very helpful, courteous and accommodating. There was, however, a very strong odor in the lobby, which I am thinking it could be from the pool, but, it wasn't a chlorine smell.

The staff at this Hotel are by far the friendliest I have stayed at across the USA and Canada. A great big smile and a welcome. When talking to the desk clerk ,we mentioned that we were going to our grandson's graduation, when we got back she asked how the ceremonies went . This is the second time we stayed at the hotel while attending ceremonies at St. F.X. University , it is about half an hour drive and we got class treatment.
