Check out the tallest freestanding structure in North America: the CN Tower. The tip of its spire plunges 553 metres into the sky. If you are particularly daring, for $175, you can walk outside on a catwalk the size of a city sidewalk 356 metres above the ground. It is an unforgettable adrenaline rush. From that dizzying height, you can even catch sight of some of the top hotels in Ontario. While in Toronto, you should also be sure to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame. Ontario hotel deals do not last long; find special discount prices early, book the rooms, and take advantage of the best Ontario hotel packages.

For those history buffs among you, Josiah Henson's cabin near Dresden is a must see. His 5-acre property, which is currently the Uncle Tom's Cabin Historic Site, was the last stop on the Underground Railroad. Petrolia is a half-hour drive north of Dresden and is the first place in North America where oil was discovered in 1858. If you prefer more modern history, you can visit Sarnia. This small city on the Michigan border was the number-two target of the Soviet nuclear arsenal behind Washington, D.C., during the Cold War because of its extensive petrochemical industry. Be sure to visit the waterfront for a plate of Sarnia's world-famous, fresh-cut chips.

Northern Ontario offers outdoorsmen a veritable bounty of game. Deer, elk, moose, and bear are all available for hunting in season, and the rivers and lakes teem with everything from walleye to sturgeon. Campers can enjoy a top outdoor experience in any one of a number of campgrounds or truly rough it in a tent in the Ontario wilderness. You can sail, camp, hunt, dine, sightsee in Ontario, or even gamble at one of its half a dozen casinos.

    "Very nice"
Everything is perfect but rooms windows faced inner wall of building and so you can't see anything outside. Perfect for 1 day stay but longer stays might be uncomfy. Yet for ~$150usd/night it's the good deal. Facilities are clean, modern and spacious.

    "Perfect location!!!"
Kind and lovely staff including the room cleaners. The hotel is so beautiful and has an underground way to many food restaurants and shopping. They were filmung a movie "correspondence" at the hotel during our stay. We did the high tea at the library bar and also had the buffet at Epic and it was lovely. We dined at the best steak house Jacob & Co and it was fabulous. The niagara falls tour was perfect and it will always be a memorable experience.

Beautifully appointed hotel. Vey comfortable. Excellent staff. My room had a great view of parliament and the Ottawa locks on the Rideau Canal. Very close to Parliament, the National Gallery and the Rideau Centre (for shopping). Only a twenty minute walk across the bridge to the Canadian History Museum in Québec. Highly recommended.

"Great at first but went down..."
When my boyfriend and I first arrived at the hotel it was very nice and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is a bit of a walk from Niagara falls(about 40 minute walk), but it seemed to be a nice place and wasn't that bad of a walk(found some cool places. There is also a bus that can take you down to the falls). The restaurant and bartenders were fantastic. It wasn't until we got back from the falls and the next morning that we had problems. The air conditioner in our room was screeching all night long so when we told the concierge they made it sound like it was our fault and that we should've changed our room(it was at least 12 am when we got back). Since we did not sleep well he gave us a complementary breakfast, come to find out the breakfast was gross and we still had to pay for our own drinks; seemed like they wanted every penny from us. My boyfriend also wanted to pay cash for the hotel, they made it seem like a struggle when the day before they were happy to accept cash. Overall, before the morning I would've given this hotel a 4/5 stars but since the morning was unpleasant for us it brought it down to 3 stars.

    "Choose a Falls View Room"
I am so happy that we chose a falls view room. The view was spectacular. We were on floor three, and had trees blocking view to the Horseshoe falls, but the view of the American & Bridal Veil Falls was unobstructed. Location of hotel is great for families. Tons of stuff to do on Clifton Hill. Most of the stuff is pretty cheesy, but that's the type of things that kids love (arcades, mini-golf, later tag bowling, etc.) The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of five.
