The hotel was older but beautifully maintained. The staff were wonderful and provided an amazing service. We would certainly stay again.

We chose the hotel based on combination of location, quality and price, and it didnt disappoint us. The condition of the room was good, the restaurant provided high quality food, the other facilities are OK, but on this island you dont want to spend too much time at the hotel.

Brilliant location close to many of the best things on Kangaroo Island. The Courtyard Room was worth the extra, with Wallabies at the door wanting to be fed, and prepared to be hand fed (with care). Food in the restaurant was also very good. Only grouse was that you couldn't watch the TV from the couch, only from the bed- but you don't go to KI to watch TV! We went on the evening Wild Life Walk at Hansons Bay (next door - only 3-4km) - really interesting, and saw koalas, kangaroos (close up) wallabies, etc. with a very informative guide.

Simple accommodation but pleasant enough for our stay of three nights. All facilities there, unless you are after a tv. We had a late arrival (9pm) and had no problem checking in. Good location for exploring the whole island. Just be mindful of the fact that there are very few places to eat around here (other than the cafe on the accommodation itself, which we did not try), and that grocery options at nearby general stores (Vivonne and Parndana) are limited. I wouldn't take this as a reason not to stay here - just a reason to be prepared.

A great place to stay whether you play golf or not. I had 4 overseas visitors from China with me, and this hotel gave them a great impression of our country. It has a good dinning room and fantastic view, but I didn't try the food. I would recommend this hotel.

Very convenient close to amenities, very friendly staff and clean.
