“Great Hotel for the price”

We flew out of Detroit Metro and chose to stay at the Best Western the night before our departure. The staff was very friendly & our room was nice, clean & the bed was very comfortable (I hate hard beds!) There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room also. We chose to use their park & fly option instead of trying to park at the airport which was really convenient. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes & had us over to the airport in plenty of time to check in and get thru security. When we fly out of Detroit again we will definitely do the same thing. Thank you to the staff for making our vacation even better.

“Great Hotel”

The hotel was conveinent and comfortable. The hotel staff was helpful and the restaurant inside the hotel was a little expensive but had good food and great service. A bus left every half hour for the airport and the all the rooms are non-smoking. The only noise came from people walking in the hallways and that wasn't a lot at all. I couldn't hear the planes from the airport at all. The only thing that I found wrong with the room was the sink area had a little dirt on it. Overall it was a great hotel.

“It was a great start to our vacation”

We stayed near the airport because we had an early flight. It was a good choice because it was the start of a great trip. We arrived about 2:00 p.m. and the Palms restaurant in the hotel was closed. The desk clerk said, let us take you to Merriman Grill. It was nice not to have to drive to the restaurant and the driver was courteous and friendly. We will stay here next time we travel.

“Nice older hotel”

It was a nice older hotel for a weekend stay. The breakfast was nice and the hotel was very quiet.

“Good value at a decent price”

This Best Western was the best kind of surprise - there were none! Everything was as advertised and the stay was comfortable and pleasant. No need to say much more. If the Detroit airport area is your destination this hotel is a good choice.

“Great time with kids”

What a find! We used it as a base for a week long vacation in Detroit. The hotel is in a pleasant, easily accessable location. The staff and amenities are kid friendly. We used every feature including the complimentary breakfasts, free newspapers, indoor pool, outdoor pool, hot tub, basketball court and the mini putting green. The hotel was a great value and provided a fantastic base for our holiday. Thanks.

“Will stay there again”

Very nice. Someone told us it was an old hotel, but it didn't look like it. It had a tanning salon, pool, and pool tables for everyone to enjoy. I didn't use them, but it was nice to know for future plans to visit family there.

“extraordinary value”

hello, I have stayed here many, many times, and the staff, the amenities and the price make this an unbelievable value. There's an indoor and an outdoor pool, a hot tub, a workout room, a restaurant and lounge (with room service), a tanning booth, a great breakfast, an expansive indoor area (especially nice in the cold winter months - to be able to roam around indoors), a small business center, some video games, pool tables, nice rooms (some with jacuzzis), and a convenient location. Many restaurants are within walking distance on Merriman Street (Lebanese, Chinese, Italian, American Grill, pizza, subs, etc.). A great choice for the price!

we were upgraded to a jacuzzi room and loved it....clean, fair price and great staff!!!

Hotel is clean, beds are comfortable, and great service. Highly recommend to anyone.
