“surprised by the location”

when getting off the expressway, the area seems a bit shady, but the hotel itself was much nicer than i expected. the room & decor are a bit dated, but it was very clean and the room was a decent size.

“Will Stay Again!”

“Very Good Place to Stay For a Visit to Henry Ford Museum”

We were very impressed with this hotel! It has clean, comfortable, and sizeable rooms, a courteous staff, and great amenities...pool, sauna, resturant, and bar. The public areas are decorated with a victorian/edwardian theme, with an emphasis on automotive history. It is perfect for a visit to The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village...close in location, free shuttle to the museum, and very nice amenities to fill the evening hours (The Henry Ford closes at 5 pm). This hotel is far better than the motels in the area, without the high prices of the more famous hotels nearby. We did not get a smoking room, as requested, but were placed very near an outside smoking area. Overall, I would highly recomend this hotel.

“something to do”

Greenfield is an older property but has been well maintained. Staff is very friendly and rates are reasonable

Allen Park , due to closeness of The Henry Ford , etc.

Getting around

U S 12( Michigan Ave.) is very stressful to drive as well as I-94 in Detroit. Be prepared to have nerves of steel as both highways are very congested and people drive very fast in the area ! Use your navagational system, it is a life saver as the roads are very confusing if you are not from that area.

“Wekkend in Greenfield Village”

The Best Western Hotel is very to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. The Hotel is well maintained, clean, comfortable with a great pool, spa, workout area. There is an outdoor gazebo for those nice days and warm nights. A complimentary breakfast would be appreciated.

Area recommendations

We attended he Halloween Nights program at Greenfield Village then returned the next day to view the Village during a normal day. Excellent trip. We highly recommend a family vacation to the Henry Ford complex.

Very easy access as the Best Western is right off I 94.

Shopping is located right acroos from the hotel.
