short stay

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: it was convenient to what I wanted to do. I loved the photos of all of the autos on the walls
Cons: Staff need info on closest coffee shop, late night food, shoe repair. This is info I depend on hotel staff to provide when I travel and most do.
Location: I was there on business and to see family. I couldn't find any place to have a late light dinner at 10:30 at night.
One bad thing. we arrived at hotel to find bar open, but no longer serving food. We asked front desk staff if there was some restaurant (other than fast food) nearby that might still be serving. Staff didn't seem to put any effort into answer, telling my husband, "maybe in the mall across the highway". Malls close earlier than bars, and so do the restaurants on the property. (Chilis, Panera, and something similar)

Close to Henry Ford, but that's about it

Hotel was average, restaurant was very expensive, no free breakfast option, hotel does not seem to be in a very good area, room was clean, bed comfort average, but your options in this area are very limited

Nice location

Posted Jun 11, 2015
Tried to check in early but I wasn't allowed. Granted it was about 4 to 5 hours early but I was able to check in early at about the two hour mark. I was traveling alone and did not have my copilot. But the location of this hotel allowed me to get to the Detroit Tigers baseball game independently without difficulty the Greektown casino and various other spots that I chose. They had a nice swimming pool dry sauna and work out room I was able to run on treadmill.

Would stay there again...

Checking in was quick and friendly. When we go to our room, it was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We went down to O'Henry's for dinner. The waitress was very friendly. Service was fast and food was great. Love then home made chips for our appetizer. We decided to stay another night and was moved 2 rooms down and that room was wonderful too. The pillows were so comfortable I want to get some for my bed at home.

Pretty Good for Price

Posted Jun 6, 2015
Pros: proximity to attractions- Ford Museum Restaurant Price
Cons: loose the pink theme and early american decor I was looking in the room and thinking "who does wall paper anymore?
Location: Close to all things "Ford" hint- wait till afternoon to go, thats when all the school kids have left...very crowded until about 1:30 pm
Not a lot of choices in this area for hotels, you either have very expensive or very cheap and scary...This is a good, overall, safe, clean, close to attractions facility.....Restaurant is very good with giant proportions. If I had to give a negative, it would be, noise and light.......Its located next to Interstate, and trash removal truck arrives about 4:30 am, bright parking lot lights shine right into rooms and curtains do not block out completely....but this is nit picking.....overall a nice place, would definitely stay again if I was in area.

Pleasant and Comfortable

Posted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: It was I convenient for Detroit and surrounding area, and a good location for my holiday plans. Facilities within hotel fine for rainy days.
Cons: Upgrading guest computer systems & Game Machines would be nice, although Wi-Fi coverage was good throughout the complex.
Location: West of Detroit, only 20minutes from Downtown. Close to The Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village attractions
I was very comfortable in the hotel, I actually extended my stay from 9 nights to 13 nights. Restaurant & Bar on site, (room service can be provided) which I found to be good quality and reasonable priced. I used the good size indoor pool and sauna on number of occasions which I found to be of good standard. Room was comfortable and regularly kept clean. Although there was a relatively small additional cost it was easy to arrange a later check-out time, this may be more difficult at busier times.
