“Relaxing & clean!! get the rest you need :)”

I loved it!! Wish there was a pool tho.. workout room was nice and having free washer and dryer was nice...I loved that it looked like an apartment

All was comfortable, altho the freeway noise and refrigerator cycling off and on was slightly disturbing. Suggest you request a room away from the freeway side. Staff was very helpful

I was very pleased with my stay. Everything looks new and clean! I would like to come back one day.

I stayed during Christmas break, so hotel was pretty quiet anyway. The rooms are only cleaned once a week (I knew that ahead of time), so you need to do your own housekeeping, which isn't that big a deal.

This is a very nice place, especially for the price. Very new, clean, well maintained, good quality furniture, bathrooms....everything is good. Staff was average but certainly adequate. Really nothing bad to say about this place. I WILL stay there again and highly recommend it.

“"Not such a suite smell, Candlewood"”

Traveler's Beware I'd hate to think that this was the normal smell... BUT - Somebody(s) must have been preparing some authentic cuisine on the second floor over Thanksgiving 2011 - it lingered for 3 days! (Curry seemed to be masking the stink of pet urine and death) This disgusting stench infused itself right into the walls, ceiling tiles, carpet fibers and eventually directly into the cloths we were wearing. In my opinion, I would rather have had a smoking room to offset the revolting vial odor. When confronting the desk upon check out… they totally had no clue - I find that hard to believe, even know rooms are cleaned only ONCE a week! Besides dealing with the freeway noise and the heavy footed family dwelling above us, I'd say our adventures away from Candlewood were much anticipated, even know it consisted of visiting in-laws for the Holiday. I'd suggest you laugh at our experience, be happy it was not you, and read a review or two and make a better decision than we did. We definitely will NOT be revisiting this location in the future.
