“Perfect business stop”
Clean, comfortable, convenient, well appointed with facilities to use if you did not want to leave the hotel-plus free high-speed internet!
“Average, but would give it another shot”
Hotel was of average quality. I had trouble with my key card entering my room as well as the outside door. There was also a mix up and someone else was booked to my room after my check in. (Found out when they tried to enter my room and we compared the room numbers) Their continental breakfast was good, but the "flow" of accessing the food could be better.
“Good and bad”
Front desk was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast area could have been taken care of better. They were out of a lot of things when we ate and all of the tables needed to be cleaned off.
“Nice Place”
Staff was helpful and knowledgable about the area. Shuttle to airport was available every half hour, twenty four hours a day.
“A good hotel to stay”
The hotel has friendly staff, a nice pool and breakfast buffet with a fair price that I enjoyed. However I was surprised that the rooms don't have fridge.
“Convenient - close to airport.”
I had a flight out the next morning and the airport as well as the hotel shuttle made this location ideal. We had our own vehicle and the hotel is close enough to Joe Louis Arena see a Red Wings game in the evening. It was a fun evening.
“Don't let the outside fool you, its great inside”
When the airport shuttle pulled up, I thought "uh-oh" The outside shows the dated structure of this hotel, though the front is face lifted. Inside is delightful, with well appointed rooms and public areas.
“Great hotel very comfortable”
Stay was great, hotel was within minutes of the airport which was convient,the front desk staff was very friendly and informed me all about the hotel. The cafe and lounge were amazing as well. I will definetly be planing my stay at the clarion hotel again.
“Comfort with an affordable rate.”
The employees were the nicest of any I have ever met at any hotel/motel. Rooms were very comfortable, clean, and had a pleasant aroma. I will strongly consider staying here again when I return to Detroit in a few months. However, the service was friendly but slow when ordering a hot breakfast one morning. My son and I had pancakes that took over 30 minutes to get and they were cold when they arrived. I am not one to complain to receive a free meal nor will I be rude to a server, but I felt under the circumstances that the waitress should have seen to it that we received these at no charge. I spent several years cooking at a restaurant and learned enough to know that cold food is the servers fault. This took place on the Sunday morning I was there.
“Pet Friendly”
I chose this hotel due to the fact that they cator to my small dog.
