“Good stay for quick a trip”

The evening staff at the front desk was very helpful and personable. The lobby is very nice, the rooms feel a little bit older, but clean. There was a nice work station in the room, everything in the room worked well, and the bathroom was clean. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that the carpeting did not look recently vacuumed --- maybe they missed it after the last person. It felt that way only because there was a penny and some fuzz on the carpet between the bed and the work station. I would stay there again.

Area recommendations
I would recommend eating at Leo's just down the road. Excellent food and service.

“Will stay again”

Good value for the money-safe and convenient to expressway. Staff was very pleasant. Only complaint was the scrambled (powdered ?) eggs. But, it was a free breakfast and waffles and other offerings were good. Will be coming back twice for business within the next 30 days.

“five star treatment”

We had been driving all night and arrived at the motel late morning. I asked if it was at all possible to check in early so we could take a nap or if we could park in a corner of their lot and nap. The front desk clerk told us to help ourselves to breakfast, she would talk to the manager. The hot btreakfast was excellent and included waffles, eggs, bacon, cereals, pastries, fruit, etc. the manager happened to have two available rooms and let us check in early - talk about five star treatment!! We were able to nap in comfort and wake up refreshed our 4 day stay was extremely enjoyable and the staff extremely courteous. we are staying here again next year when we return for a football game.

Area recommendations
Bennigans is right next door and an excellent restaurant.

the drive to the big house was 25 minutes and mostly interstate. we are staying here again next year when we return for a football game.

“Nice place at a reasonable price..would recommend to others”

The only negative is the lack of signage to locate this hotel. It is buried behind a vacated Steak & Ale Resturant down a tree covered lane, behind a Bennegan's resturant with no signage to find the place. The address given does not exsist! Other than that it was a good place to stay and the management was very accomodating.

“Not too impressed.”

When we tried to check in to our rooms after 5pm, they were not ready yet. They had some sort of big sports group staying there the night before. They moved us to different rooms that were ready. It took a while at the front desk to get this taken care of. When we checked into our rooms, one of them reeked of sweaty socks. I assume it was from the sports players. Still, I wouldn't have rented that room out until the smell was somehow gotten rid of. The other room didn't seem to have a bad odor. They did tell us if the smell wasn't gone by the time we got back later, to let them know and they would move us. We asked one of the maids if she had some sort of odor spray, so she came through and sprayed the room. Both rooms were not in the best shape. Just didn't seem to be kept up very well. It was very stuffy during the night, and the bed was not very comfortable. My parents moved to a different room on the second floor the next night. That room seemed in much better shape and much fresher. The breakfast was decent in the AM. They have a lot of choices. The work-out room was okay as well. Overall, it was not bad for the price. Just wasn't too happy about check-in and the bad smell in the room.

“Great value and location”

The Comfort Inn in Plymouth is a little bit old but in very good condition and clean. I appreciated all the nice small things like free newspaper, cookies in the afternoon, nice continental breakfast with boiled eggs, bagels, waffle maker, etc. The rooms are clean and spacious with free wi-fi internet.

Downtown Plymouth is not far away and there are some nice restaurants and bars there.

“Good location for a wedding overnight”

Once we were reassigned to a room that didn't smell like a former smoking room, the hotel was fine. Room was comfortable, breakfast was about average for these kinds of hotels,

“Great Value”

All in all it was a very pleasant stay. The room was nice. The bed was HUGE and very comfortable. The only real complaint I have (which I daresay is more of a problem with my phone than the service) was I couldn't access the wifi for some reason. They have a login requirement to access the wifi and it wouldn't display on my screen.

“Plymouth Comfort Inn”

Driving into Detroit area from Up North and looking for a cheap, overnight place within striking distance of the airport. Comfort Inn Plymouth fit the bill and price and quality - nothing special, but very clean and well maintained for an aged hotel from mid 80's/early 90's. Friendly staff and service with a nice waffle and banana for breakfast. 20 minutes from the front of NW/Delta departure. I'll always check here first when making this trip. Plymouth is a nice little town in the Detroit burbs and town was busy with Christmas shoppers and families. Nice and Midwest.

Area recommendations
Plymouth is small and this hotel is just off I-275. Good spot to hit the hotel and the malls to the north in Novi. Livonia, Canton, and Ann Arbor are not far away.
Must see
Take time to shop, dine, and take in a movie at the historic Penn Theater in downtown Plymouth - about 5 minutes away. It is a nice experience, especially around Christmas when locals head to the village square to meet Santa and pick out a nice tree - sold from the park. Easy sandwich and coffee shops to walk to and hit some of the local stores as well.

“Other than cleaning people not cleaning under the beds for items left/food items it was a nice stay”

Breakfast Bar had a good varity of items. The swimming pool was clean and towels were at the location. Location was convenient off the expressway for easy-on/easy-off.
