“Id stay there again!!!”

I believe in keeping things simple, when I arrived at Comfort Inn I was greeted with a smile, informed of all the ammenities, ask if I needed assistance with my bags etc. Upon arriving at my room I noticed it was clean, smelled good, temp was comfortable, it was stocked with coffee, fridge, towels, toletries,iron, hair dryer etc, The jacuzzi in my room was clean and well maintained, I couldnt have ask for a better room. The staff was always polite, there was guest internet on the floor in common area, the food a the reataurant was good as was the service. I was treated quite well. Most importantly when it came time to check out and the front desk attendant realized my flight didnt leave for quite sometime, I was allowed to stay in my room for a few additional hours till I took the shuttle provied by the hotel to the airport. I would definately stay there on my next trip. I was completely satisfied with the customer service and my overall stay at the hotel. I highly reccomend it to anyone!! .

“Convenient”

Everything was fine. The breakfast was very good. There is a I-94 interchange (I believe 197) just west of the hotel that provides easy access that is much less busy than the main I-94 interchange for the airport. The staff were pleasant. The room had HBO.

“Very Convenient”

Great price made it easier to fly out early in the morning without having to leave home in the middle of the night.

“Dank”

The service and ride to the airport were reliable, but the room was damp and smelled of mildew, linens were stained and the place clearly hadn't been updated in decades.

“Very Poor Experience”

Couldn't regulate the heat, heater very loud. Bed extremely uncomfortable. Clock didn't work. Will not go back. Needs renovation

“Not perfect but very good!”

This is a very high volume hotel with people coming in and out at all hours. Desk staff was extremely friendly and nice. I'm quite tall so, without asking, they moved me out of the two twins room to a room with a kind bed and hot tub! Pretty sweet. Everything looks well worn but the staff's friendliness and great atmosphere made up for any shortcomings. Breakfast was only cereal, but then again, I was just happy to get something before waiting for my flight out.

“OK when stuck because of weather”

In January, I was forced to overnight at DTW because of weather. Found Comfort Inn Romulus. The price was right and it had a couple of key features: free van service to and from the airport and free breakfast. The van service was fine, and so was check-in. The room was sub-par: water stains of the ceiling, walls very scuffed with many patched places and furniture missing portions of plastic laminate exposing the particle board below. The carpet had seen too many pairs of dirty feet: I did not go barefoot in the room. Breakfast the next morning consisted of cold cereal and some hot entrees that were not notable. For an eight hours stay in the middle of a weather delay, it was passable. Next time will choose another hotel close by to this one and pay a little more money

“Will Do”

The room was more than satisfactory considering the circumstances. But for the remainder of my visit we stayed at an Expedia "blind discount" hotel down the street.

“Airport Convenience”

This hotel is in a decent location, less than 5 minutes from the airport. Easy to get to the airport if you're driving and parking there. Or, they offer a shuttle (I didn't ask about extended parking in their lot). Finding the hotel was a bit challenging, the road is not well marked. Breakfast begins at 04:00 which was nice since I had a 06:00 flight. It wasn't that great, but it was adequate. Make your own waffles (the batter was way too thick), bagels, cerial and fruit. Standard breakfast stuff for these kinds of places. It was clean, and despite being less than a mile from the airport was nice and quiet. Not much for resturants in the area, but that's not the hotel's fault.
