This hotel is very close to airlines parking. My husband and I like to here the night before we have to catch an early flight. It's very close to airlines parking. It's very convenient.

The Courtyard was clean, comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

The hotel is handy to downtown Detroit. The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms spacious and clean.The service was cordial and prompt.

“well worth a try”

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. Very friendly staff at registration, same lady looked after our room both mornings and was terrific. Our room rate was breakfast included, so we ate both mornings in the hotel restaurant. Food was good, nothing exceptional. Like all the Romulus hotels, this one is right on the airport approach, so jets fly right over the hotel. Sound insulation is good, though, and noise really wasn't a problem.

“It was OK”

When I researched hotels for our stay I chose this one because they advertised a restaurant. We wanted to buy breakfast on Christmas morning. What a disappointment to find the restaurant was closed and we were not informed ahead of time. They had muffins and coffee but poor for Christmas breakfast.

This hotel is conveniently located off I-94 with a direct route to the Detroit Metro Airport. Very clean and comfortable. Made our trip easy.

“One of My Best Hotel Experiences In A LONG Time”

The title says it all. This is the best hotel experience that I have had in a long time. My fiance' and I were in town for a wedding. First off the location of the hotel was extremely convenient to Detroit Metro Airport (literally a 3 minute drive from the hotel door to the terminal). Second the hotel staff was very friendly and especially helpful. We arrived early Thursday morning at 8:30 am even though check in time wasn't until 3 pm and the hotel was sold out the night before, they had a room ready for us by 9:30 am. And they were very patient in giving us directions anywhere we wanted to go (McDonalds, CVS, etc.) And everybody always seemed to be in a pleasant mood from the cleaning staff to the front desk. The rooms were cool as well. Decently sized, powerful AC and great beds. And of course the free high speed internet was the icing on the cake. The rest of the hotel was nice as well. Beautiful lobby (with wireless internet) and the exercise room was very impressive (the treadmills each had their own TV attached). I didn't get a chance to make it to the pool, but I did see quite a few people heading to it. This hotel genuinely seems to care about their guests. An example of this was after we checked out. My fiance' left her laptop charger in the room and we didn't figure that out until we got back to Maryland. But the hotel was nice enough to mail the charger to us at no charge and we got it back two days later. So if you're in Detroit, this is your hotel :o)

“Great value and good service”

The hotel was extremely clean and the service at the desk was friendly. The bed had a very comfortable mattress, and the free WiFi was a nice touch. It's not as fancy as some other hotels, but an excellent choice if you don't want to spend a fortune, yet still want a nice place to stay.

Marriott Courtyards almost always have windows that open or balconies. This is an extremely important feature for me, as I am allergic to air conditioning. It's getting more and more difficult to find hotels that have windows that open, but I can usually count on Marriott Courtyard. Marriott has successfully analyzed the needs of the business traveler and built the Courtyard hotel experience to suit.
