Overnighter

Pros: The bed was very comfortable
Cons: Next time leave my sister in-law at home.
Location: We were about 10 minutes from Royal Oak and there are tons of things to do and eat downtown.
We were in town for just one night. The staff was friendly, hotel was clean and very nice looking. We did not use the pool on this stay but from what I could hear it did not sound like anyone was complaining about it.

Extra fees and no extras

Pros: Size of rooms
Cons: No suprising fees. Some amenities like breakfast or at the least coffee
Location: Nothing
Picked the hotel because of location and medium price. When arrived told all Expedia guests also have to put down $50 in case we wanted something else. (Whatever that meant) Asked about features and told we had a room and that was it. No coffee, no breakfast, expensive "bistro" if you wanted a 10 to 15 dollar oatmeal and toast combo. Asked about nearby restaurants or places to go and was told if you wanted to travel over 5 miles there were a few restaurants "somewhere" Not a good experience.

I apologize that you were not made aware of the requirement to provide either a cash or credit incidental deposit of $50 upon check in. This coveres any telephone, restraurant, bar or Market charges that you may choose to charge to your guest room. It is promptly refunded upon check out minus whatever expenses you may have had. We also have the "Go Board" located in our lobby that has a comprehensive listing of restaurants nearby complete with a map and printing capabilities. I apologize that you were not made aware and would be happy to personally show you how to use the touch screen should you return to the Troy Courtyard. Good hotel, enjoyable visit

Location: Shopping
Clean and nice hotel, friendly staff, I took a wrong turn getting to the hotel and they were great directing me where to go. Would stay again. Stay included complimentary breakfast, great breakfast. Enjoyable place, would highly recommend.

Received misleading information from 2 difference attendants. Super icy sidewalk & driveway at 930 am. Over priced breakfast items that were lacking flavor. Room was chilly even with thermostat reading 70.

Friendly and good location to the northern suburbs

Hotel is convenient to most of the northern suburbs. The 1 bedroom suite is very large and comfortable... highly recommend.

Our Get Out of Town Weekend

Pros: It was quiet and clean, and staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: We were close to downtown Troy with restaurants, shopping, etc, but came to be near the Henry Ford Museum and friends to visit.
We stayed here to be between towns and people we came to visit. This motel was out of the way of construction in downtown Troy, and was quieter than many, even with hockey teams on hand. The bed was comfortable, the room clean and quiet. We stayed 3 nights and would stay there, again.

Good hotel stay!

I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel and room. I reserved the hotel because of an event in Auburn Hills the next day, and made a mistake by choosing the wrong Courtyard but that was my mistake. The rooms were comfortable and clean had no complaints. The only issue I had is the hotel had one place to eat, and on a Friday they do not stay open late and there was no bar. The location only had one lounge in the area and would require a walk down the block to access. Friendly service a the front desk.
