The stay is not worth the price

Location: You have a Walmart, Joe's crab restaurant, automotive shops and plenty of fast food places.
I had to ask the hotel staff to clean my room(302). It appeared that I was not on the list to have the room cleaned. I noticed that my room was left open after one of the hotel staff members has come by and dropped off towels. When I called the front desk to inquire if they had to come back into the room I was told she had several guests in front of her and she would have to call me back. So I secured my room and went down to the front desk to further explain that the staff members had already serviced the room so why would they have to enter again and leave the door open. She stated that she check with staff to see what and if anything could be done to make sure the door was secure once they left. I told her that I have computer items and clothing and if they could not make sure the door was secure then let me know and I would not need any more service during my stay. I was never notified of the fix for the problem so everyday I asked who was cleaning the room if anyone.

Change is not always good

Pros: The locaton to restaurants we visit every year. The ride up 13 mile to the Woodward Dream Cruise.
Cons: Just about everything!
Location: Our favorite restaurants. We are there for The Woorward Dream Cruise. 1,000,000 people and 40,000 cars, cruising the avenue.
The hotel changed to Days Inn since we were last there. This is the fourth time we have stayed at this location. The previous tsays were very comfortable. This time it was like night and day. The bathroom was filthy when we got there. They ran out of breakfast. We requested adjacent rooms 6 months in advance and got rooms two doors apart. The outside areas we very unkempt. When they came to make beds and put out clean towels, they left only a bath mat and three washcloths. The desk person was not concerned and said I will send someone up. Other people we see there every year, (from Canada) were very upset and said they would not be back to that hotel. I had two rooms and the people from Canada had 6 or 7 rooms. We all go to the Wooward Dream Cruise every August. So, next August there will be rooms available for others, cause we won't be at Days Inn. This year we had 2 rooms as usual, but we stayed 3 days instead of our usual 2. You have lost our business at days Inn, Warren, MI

Got one of the last rooms. It wasn't good. Maid didn't come until after 5:30 pm next day. Too late to make it any better. Next day sink still clogged and chair broken after reporting it on my way out in the morning. Asked to be switched and got a better room. This one was ok

Disapointing

The staff on arrival were very friendly the room was OK very basic and the room I don't think been cleaned that day The bath tub had a blue stain in the corner that had dried in to a powder I would not recommend the hotel or go back to stay in it again. I thought Days inn have higher standards than that.

The room was really dirty. The floor had not been vacuumed and there was still hair on the bathroom floor. Thank god we only were using it to sleep a couple hours and leave. I wouldnt even walk barefoot on the carpet wore my shoes. Seriously afraid to get under the sheets. You could see daylight through the air conditioner and it was sooo loud you couldnt sleep through it. Definitly wouldnt recommend.

We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights. Pleasant, nice, clean... . The only minus is breakfast.. really basic breakfast. Overall experience PLEASANT

First room was disgusting...

Pros: Price, location.
Cons: They need to make sure that the rooms are clean. The first room was pretty bad. In all the travelling I have done, I have never had a room that bad.
We checked in about midnight only to find that the room smelled, the sheets were dirty (hair and stains). It was a pretty horrible start. The staff were good and immediately found us another room nearby which was much better. The breakfast was OK. There were not enough of the eggs when we went through. The staff person was a little slow getting things restocked even thought the breakfast was not busy when we went through.

Old hotel needs an upgrade

Bathroom smelled like urine and the floor was stick. Ask for receipt when I check out was told to get it of line. The hotel computer was down and they didn't know when it would be fixed.

Got to the first room and it was a mess, bedding everywhere. Got the second room and it was fine.
