Garth Brooks concert

Pros: Helpful and polite employees. Very nice and Clean room.
Cons: nothing we had no problems
Location: near the casinos and many other venues
our stay was great at hotel. Every one was very kind and helpful for all our needs will diffinately stay again.

Nice hotel!

Pros: Helpful staff, view was great, easy access to People Mover / Joe Louis Arena
Cons: Bathroom was a little small
Location: Used People Mover to go to Joe Louis Arena and Greektown area. Went to the Cadillac Square Diner for breakfast - very good! Also Tommy's bar on Fort.
We received excellent service from the staff at the Marriott. Had a room on the 60th floor and the view was amazing. Room was clean and beds were nice. Bathroom is a little small, but otherwise it was great. Again, the staff was very courteous.

If you don't care about the little things

It's was very clean, and the staff was helpful and nice. The bed was hard, I woke up in pain. They don't offer free coffee. I had to wait an hour for them to bring me a refrigerator because they do not keep them in the room and they charged my credit card for my stay when I paid 2 months in advance through Expedia. I personally may not stay there again but if these little things don't bother you it was a neat place to place.

Great place.

Pros: location and atmosphere.
Cons: more pillows and amenities in room
Location: It is at the heart of the river walk on the Detroit river. walking distance to many Detroit favorites and cab ride away from the others.
Building is amazing. Very cool to be able to walk through the GM building and such. Being on the river and close to greektown is awesome. Room was nice but a bit pricy in my opinion for being so basic. Should have asked for more pillows as well since there was an odd number of 3 small pillows for a king sized bed. No fridge or mini bar ( not that anyone can afford that stuff anyway but odd for a high price room) . Was nice clean and bed was comfortable and so were the small pillows , just needed more. Check in was quick and friendly . Breakfast at volt however the next morning was not good.

Nice place to stay for downtown events. Rooms are a bit small, but the spectacular views make up for it. The only downside is a lack of exhaust fan in the bathroom...

Can't find your way around and there are no helpful signs or people. Took us 30 minutes to find our parking garage. Also there was a 45 minute line for check in. Not a place to take children. Ridiculous wait times for everything, like an elevator just to your floor. Will never stay here again!

Very nice, close to Joe Lewis Arena

Cons: need free wi-fi
We were satisfied with the hotel, except for the lack of free Wi-Fi, after paying over $200 for a room, we expected not to pay $12 for Wi-Fi that should have been a perk with the room. I am glad I had my own internet to use.

Was a good a stay. Would stay here again. Went to a concert a the joe was good walking distance or you could take the people movee
