“Leery at first. Pleasantly surprised by everything. We'd go back!”

After seeing some of the other reviews I was skeptical of this hotel. However, we had great service and the staff was friendly. Shuttle was convenient and the price affordable!

“I loved being here”

This is not the place to go if you need sterile and antiseptic quarters. For me, being here was like visiting family...not necessarily perfectly clean but I felt very much surrounded by a staff that looked out for me. It is very easy to get in and out yet I felt very safe parking there.

“Cleanliness”

The room was very dirty!! The first night there we found a used condom behind the night stand and there was a lot of dirt on the floor boards. Not to mention hair all over the bathroom. When we first walked in the smell of the room was bad, but after spraying a lot of perfume it wasn't bad. They shuttled everyone who was there for the concert at Ford field and dropped us off, but never picked us up after the concert. Told us to get a cab or walk.

Greek town. Better quality Motels and the location is awesome.

“very satisfied”

We were very pleased with this hotel. It is an older hotel but very well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful. We will definitely stay again.

“Never again”

We stayed here because it was the closest place we could find to Joe Louis during the last regular season game. The room wasn't completely cleaned (cigarette ashes on the floor) and the other guests were loud and rowdy until 4am. As we were walking back to our truck after checking out the next morning, a man with a gas can was climbing the fence out of the hotel parking lot. The convenience of the location and the shuttle to the Joe were outweighed by the condition of the hotel and neighborhood. If I was traveling with another woman or my daughter rather than my husband, I would not have stayed here.

“Detroit Regency”

The hotel served it's purpose, however I would not want to stay there on a "vacation". We went for one night for a concert and all the other hotels in the area were booked. The hotel room was clean (for the age of the hotel) but there was an awful odor when we got there, as if it had been a previous smoking room. So some body spray and perfume helped curb the odor, but it was still there.

“Fun Hotel”

Good place to party. Friendly staff, affordable (free w/tip) shuttle service, decent price for prime location.

“It's a nice and cheap hotel”

If you want to get a visa to Cananda, I really recommend this hotel to you. It's about 10 minutes walk to the Canadian Embassy. We got a taxi to go there because we had never been there but we figured out it was so close to the hotel. And the parking and the breakfast are free. But the bed is kind of soft to me.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel did not impressed me because the room was old and lack of maintainence.

The restaurant which I had lunch with my friend was awesome. The name is P.F.Chang's China Bistro, which is located Summerset Mall, Troy, MI, 48084. The Chineses cuisine was delicious and delightful. The service was very good as well.
