Location: Within walking distance to Comerica Park, Ford Field and the Joe Louis arena
Great hotel in a great location. I will stay in the Doubletree every time I visit Detroit.

Nice, but wouldn't book there again

We went to Detroit for a concert and thought it would be a nice change to stay somewhere different. We should have just stayed where we always do. The room was SO hot and no way to control it. We walked to the show, and upon our return, we could barely even see the hotel at night due to no outdoor lighting. Not to mention, the hotel is not located next to anything and in a crappy part of town. Plus, they charged us for velvet parking and we didn't even utilize it.

Very nice hotel

Pros: Staff Friendliness, quality and quantity of the differant Michigan beers at the hotel bar. Loved the Valet Parking.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Ford Field, Comerica Park, Sports Bars
We came here this weekend to see the Lion/Packer game. This hotel is within a 10 minute walk to Ford Field. Its proximity was perfect , we didnt have to fight the crowds leaving detroit, we would have if we would of stayed closer to the stadium. The hotel was very very nice. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They treated you like the guest that you were. Very appreciative of directions and suggestions that they gave us for getting around town. I would suggest going to Hockey Town Cafe, awesome place, and Greektown. Will definetly will come back again next year.

Nice room

Huge room, clean, shuttle to anywhere in a 3 Mile radius which includes tigers and lions. Also only around the corner from the people mover. Only thing was the remote never worked.
