“Econo Lodge Madison Heights Detroit”
I have stayed at this hotel many times. I go up to Detroit to see the band 60 Second Crush. The hotel is very clean and the employees are friendly.
“Very happy with the accomodations”
I was very nervous about making the reservation-never having been to Michigan and this hotel being so much cheaper than others but when I got there, I was very pleased with the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was in a safe area with restaurants and stores close by. The room even had a small refrigerator and microwave which I had not known about but came in very handy. Breakfast was only muffins, bagels and donuts but I guess I shouldn't complain since the price was so much cheaper than other accomodations.
“Will use again”
We liked the hotel. Great rate. No extra charge for a refrigerator and microwave in one of our two rooms to accommodate baby food and drink, etc. Breakfast of donuts and bagels with coffee, tea and juice was nothing fancy but quite sufficient. Staff very friendly and helpful.

this is my 2nd visit, and this visit was better then the 1st. friendly female service, and lots of towels just like i ask.
“Convenient Stay”
The Econo Lodge in Madison Heights is a nice place to stay for a quick weekend getaway. It was conveniently located for our purposes. We stayed just for one night, after having attended a wedding celebration. The amenities sufficed for our needs (we really didn't need that many luxuries). The price was reasonable for our stay. Just remember, get breakfast before 10am.

“Not Too Shabby”
This hotel wasn't too bad. The last time I had to go to Pontiac back in 2000, I stayed here. I got my room very very cheap, and it was ok for the price. It was pretty clean, quiet, and conveniently located. I will stay here again when I come back. Also, despite past reviews, I did a thorough inspection of the room before I unpacked. I saw no evidence of bedbugs whatsoever. I lifted the mattresses all the way up, looked at the sides of the mattress and below the boxsprings ( yes, I'm weird like that. I don't want to sleep or take home bugs! GROSS! ) and saw nothing that would indicate that this room/hotel had bedbugs.

Not a bad hotel for the price. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Very close to mall and several restaurants. Not bad at all for a short term stay. I would stay again if I had to.
