Great job Embassy !Posted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: see comments above
Cons: Not sure. Every home, building, etc needs improvements here and there - but it all depends on your budget. We were all content and happy w/the hotel.
Location: Close to highway, shopping (Meijer).
The rooms are very comfortable and have a nice layout. We loved the open atrium. We had four siblings and their families (15 total) staying at the hotel, and nobody had even one complaint. We all had a great breakfast - with lots of variety for everyone (7 kids). You choose your ingredients for an omelette (I had a great spinach omelette !). Their staff were excellent - all of them were extremely pleasant and friendly (great job staff !! - for your hard work). I know our families will always stay at this hotel when we visit family in Michigan (we are from Ontario,Canada). Best wishes for the Hotel - we were very happy !!

Great location - central to where I needed to be!Posted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: See above.
Cons: Not a thing ... loved it, loved it, loved it!!!
We came to Michigan for a family wedding. Staying at the Embassy Suites was perfect for us! Breakfast in the morning was superb! Loved the breakfast chef ... my omelet was made to order ... perfect! Our family and friends gathered one evening in the lounge for dinner and drinks ... it was fabulous! The staff was extraordinary! The suite was so very comfortable! I will stay at this hotel every time I go to Michigan from now on!

Embassy SuitesPosted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: Close to many restaurants and shopping.
Cons: Time limit for kids to be in the pool and hot tub at night so that adults could enjoy it without kids screaming and splashing.
Location: See experience box.
It is always enjoyable to stay at an Embassy Suites hotel. We had some problems with noisy children on our first night, due to lack of parental supervision. We finally called the front desk and had the problem taken care of, unfortunately it was going on 1 a.m. in the morning. They sent us up a bottle of wine the next evening with a thank you card for deciding to stay the next night with them after this happened. That's how you get people to keep coming back and recommending the hotel to others. Overall a very nice stay, by the way it was our second time at this hotel in the past 4 months.

Nice, safe, convenient, but quirky.Posted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: Breakfast, room size, bed.
Location: DTW airport is 20 minutes away. Very easy drive. There are a few restaurants, shops, and major corporations within a mile.
The hotel is convenient to the airport and is nestled in a quiet mixed use development. The main entrance is quite traditional and the front desk was reasonably staffed for a late check in. The main floor of the building, however, has a tropical theme with water elements, rock outcroppings, and foliage. There were also rooms on this main floor which was slightly odd. I had a main floor room and did not experience any problems except for the perceived lack of security. There was also an event on the main floor which occupied most all the rooms and common areas with bead and necklace vendors and customers. This again, was less than ideal, but did not cause any issues other than some tight hallways. The rooms themselves are large and well equipped with a separate bedroom/living rooms, refrigerator, microwave, and a nice wet bar. Overall, I quite liked the hotel and was able to walk to my meetings the next day. Breakfast was good enough and free.

Not impressed with the smell of the bedroom area. As the room was suppose to be a non smoking room!! But had some what if heavy smell of smoke in the room. I'm on vacation with my family n kidds ages 2 month old and 2 1/2 . There was no comfort of the room cause if the smell. Spoke to the front desk and was not satisfied with there answer. The last day morning was even worse as my daughter 2 1/2 woke up with a swollen eye lid as she bitten by a bug or insect in the room. This family vacation hotel stay was a nightmare !!! As a parent
