Nice hotel. Close to the airport.Posted Jun 28, 2014
The only downfall would be the noise from the airport. Not much to be done about that. Overall a nice place to stay.

nice hotel. very friendly staff.Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: staff was great and helpful. Breakfast bar was amazing. hotel was clean
Cons: change mattress. cleaner pool
Breakfast bar was excellent. Friendly staff. The pool was not as clean. The bed was not as comfortable. I used a coupon and that made it worth the money.

Good place to stay. Clean but used hard. Staff was ok but could have been a little more proactive.

Stop-over for 1 nightPosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: 2-room suites; manager's free reception
Cons: nothing I can think of really
Location: n/a as we stayed in hotel 1 night pre-flight and had no car
Had a stop-over to do in Detroit before flying the next morning to Puerto Vallarta. This was a mystery hotel that I booked, paid and then found out where we were staying. Paid $78 instead of $163. This is a two-room suite hotel and it was really good, even though we didn't really need two rooms for 1 night stay. The manager's reception was amazing, in the sense that you basically had an open bar, loads of snacks like chips and salsa, veggies, dip, chips, nuts, cheese and fruit. We arrived around 3pm and our flight was next morning at 9am. Breakfast was included in price and not your typical continental breakfast either. It had an omelet station, bacon, sausages, fruit, cereal, toasts etc....really good food. We would definitely stay there again if I could get the mystery deal again and not pay full price as full price is expensive for a one-night stay I find.

A oasis at the airportPosted Feb 7, 2014
I was pleasant from start to finish. The Manager's Reception was a delightful surprise with a wide variety of finger foods including healthy options. The exercise facility is well equipped, the suites are well furnished and the breakfast, including custom prepared eggs, is a great way to start the day. I expect to make this hotel a tradition on my trips to Detroit.
