“Great location, dated property!”

The staff at this property was outstanding, however the property was in bad condition. The carpet should have long been replaced. The furniture is old and uncomforatable. The bathtub needs a mat or something in it avoid making the tub slippery.The fitness center had just enough equipment to be called a fitness center and was too small.The breakfast was great, but some of the food was on the serving line too long and was not good. The staff was superb! We were treated with respect from the point where we were asked for our meal passes. Dirty or used dishes were removed promptly. This meal service is what made this a passing property, overall, as well as the location. I usually stay at the Westin, but decided to try you guys. Right now, I am headed back o the Westin!

“Outstanding breakfast included”

What a bargain this hotel is! Omelets cooked to order, spacious breakfast room with no waiting, and an attentive service staff - ALL included in the price of the room. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had 2 double beds and an adjoining sitting room - lots of space for the three of us. I'm a new fan of Embassy suites - especially this one!

“Ideal place while in Southeast Michigan”

Nice place with very spacious rooms. Hideaway bed was uncomfortable but otherwise a great room. Awesome breakfast each morning and nice reception at night. Would stay again.

“NOISE to the Next Level”

The main complaint I have was concerning hotel customers being allowed to be EVERYWHERE!!!! There was a big MSU/Uof M game & kids hockey tournament in the area that weekend. When we arrived it was a zoo, couldnt hear the desk receptionist speaking without her shouting. Kids and adults were hanging out in the hallways outside of there rooms, kids running everywhere unsupervised most of the day & night that I stayed. I had to talk to some of the kids/parents and call the front desk acouple time about the noise level. I had to wake really early for a race the following morning and that for me was way over the top. The front desk did eventually send manager around by 10:30 p to get guests into their room, but it should not have been allowed the entire day. I am all for enjoying yourself but for those of us that really needed rest/down time, it wasn't at all appropriate. If you could get beyond the noise issue, the hotel room itself was great! Loved the sitting area w/ fridge, microwave, updated furnishings.....very comfy

“Top Notch Service”

The most impressive thing about this Embassy is the absolutely outstanding attitude and helpful nature of the staff. from the front desk to the maids, everyone was extremely pleasant. Nothing beats "service with a smile" and the feeling that there is a genuine appreciation for you choosing to stay at their hotel. Special kudos to Joseph the concierge, the entire front desk staff and the breakfast cook.

Southfield. Convenient location to commute to/from Detroit attractions. Plentiful and wwide range of restaurants.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel carpet was stained throughout the hotel which bothered me. Also upon checking in the front desk person was rude to me. The breakfast was okay but the dining area was so cold.
