“Ok for price, built cheaply,”
Rag tag cheap carpet, beds OK, bathroom tile grout not too clean
“Satisfied Guests”
Extremely satisfied guest. Perhaps the only complaiint I have, the pillows are way too small and lightweight. Otherwise, everything was excellent.
“Too Much Drama”
When we went into the back entrance of the hotel near our room, there was a smoky smell that only became stronger when we got off the elevator. A group was hanging out in our hallway. We were very uncomfortable, particularly as the group grew louder. This uneasiness made us notice all of the problems with the room - the tears in the blanket, the grime in the bathroom, the shredded screens as we watched our car nervously. Finally, we called down to the front desk mentioning the group hanging out and the smoky smell. His first visit was enough to establish the concern; his second visit was accompanied by the police. It wasn't enough for us to drag the kids out, but we did not linger the next morning.
“Nice room, great price”
We have 2 kids 4 and 6 and there was 2 queen beds and a pull out couch and 2 tvs with a kitchen for a great price!
“FRIENDLY, BUT NOT WORTH FULL PRICE”
For the price, this hotel satisfied my expectations. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, although I question the same of the management. The first room we checked into had not been cleaned that day. The second room was acceptable--beds were made, no hairs in the toilet or tub, etc. Although, there were a few garbage cans that had not been emptied. The walls seemed very thin. Coming back from the ice machine, my husband could hear our children inside the room laughing all the way down the hall. The mattresses were hard as rocks. Despite all of this, the front desk staff that we came in contact were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with dinner options and calling cabs. The neighborhood was relatively nice considering its proximity to Detroit. We were looking for a safe, clean place to stay while we were in town visiting family. Our budget was tight. With all of that being said, this hotel lived up to my low expectations. I might stay there again under the same expectations. If money were'nt an object, I'd probably look for a Holiday Inn Express.
