“Romulus”

Hotel is on final approach to airport. If your a light sleeper don't use this hotel. Not all rooms have a refrig or microwave check to make sure there is one available for your type of room.

“It was OK.”

The hotel was fine, just a room and a bed. Nothing special. I felt from some of the reviews that it was a really nice hotel. Just plain and normal. Couldn't hear the planes too bad, but I was tired. Take note that you have to catch the red quick park? shuttle. I would have stood there all night waiting for a Fairfield Inn shuttle. Luckily, I called because I came in so late, I didn't know if they shut down service and the gal at the front desk told me what shuttle to look for. Breakfast was nothing special either.

“nice hotel”

good hotel ,excellent location, next to airport and parking . excellent staff , price of room was good . It includes 8 days free parking which itself was worth $80 . Breakfeast was good .

“Perfect for out-of-town airport travellers!”

Room was large and clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was better than expected, and airport shuttle service was timely and drivers were friendly. Pool and hot tub were open 24 hours which was great! Used park and fly option which saved us a lot of money and could not have been more convenient! Would definitely stay there again and would recommend them highly to anyone!

“Good for travelers near airport”

Clean hotel. If you like the airport, great location. If not, you may not like the airplanes flying directly over the hotel. Noise from planes not that noticeable, though, even on third floor. Building is new and well-kept. Immediately surrounding area has some other hotels and restaurants, but rest of area seems sketchy. Would stay here again for business travel.

Area recommendations

Romulus is good for traveler because it is near the airport and expressway. Area around Romulus is not great for families.

“Great beds and pillows”

After a long road trip, the easy check-in, was a nice welcome. The beds are like sleeping on clouds. While traveling, I always bring our pillows, however Marriott's pillows are the BEST. We also enjoyed the extra roomy shower. Nice room for the money and very clean.

Area recommendations

We really do not like the city that we visited, we only when there to see our granddaughter graduate from high school. I would never just pick this city to visit without having family close by. We had rather go somewhere close to 1000 miles south of this location in the warm sunshine, without all the smog and big city uglies.

“Will certainly stay there again.”

Have utilized this facility in the past & was very pleased with locaton & convienence to DTW. Very comfortable room & very convienent. Desk attendent was top notch! Make sure when you book through Expedia that you are in fact booking a Park & Stay package as you can not alter your reservation at the time of checking in.

“Inconsiderate Guests”

I must have been the only one on my floor that wanted to sleep that night. I yelled out the door for people to have some condideration for those who would like to sleep and at 3:30am had to call the front desk for someone to come up and vacate the halls for me. Nice hotel, wall thickness could be a problem or maybe it was all the rude people that stayed there.
