Pros: Close to down town and the casino was great.
Location: Good eats and a bus to hockytown
Very nice. Good place to stay. Love, Love, Love Detroit. A hidden gem that the rest of the country will eventually discover.

Great View and very walkable locationPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Location, you can walk anywhere in Greektown. Its all about location, location, location, and this hotel has it!
Location: Went to Pegasus for dinner and Astoria in the morning. Two of Greektown's gems!
Val, the front desk attendant, was very helpful and made my stay the best it could be. All the valet staff as well as the bell hops were super nice and friendly.

Went for a Tigers gamePosted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Location is great if you're seeing the Tigers, Lions or Red Wings. Lots of Resturants near buy
Cons: The Casino is a smoking environment, non-smokers will smell the casino before they see it. There is a small non-smoking area in the casino.
Location: Tigers, Red Wings, Lions, Greek town, Restaurants Brew pubs... We recommend Fishbones and Red Smoke
We've never had any issues at Greektown. Check in and check out are always smooth, just be prepared for the $100 deposit at check in (I always about it forget until they ask). Rooms are clean and quiet.

NIce hotel but could use some improvementsPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Location, amenities, friendly staff
Cons: Make sure rooms are clean, take care of stains, peeling paint, etc.
Location: Joe Louis arena, casino, restaurants
Overall, we had a great stay. I will say though it was odd that upon arrival to our room, the door was left open with the latch, which gave me an uneasy feeling. There were little things that were off (no TV remote, mini bar looked a mess, etc.) that made me think maybe they gave us our room before it was done being serviced? There was also chipping paint in the bathroom and some stains on the carpet and sheets. Bed was pretty comfortable but I slept horribly due to a loud TV from the room above that I could hear even through ear plugs. The view was incredible, and the hotel is very convenient. We went to a Red Wings game, and easily hopped a shuttle to and from the game. The casino was fun and restaurants were good. I would stay here again, but definitely wouldn't pay top dollar.

Not the best but not the worst!!!Posted Apr 13, 2015
I enjoyed the free valet parking. The check in process was a little slow and staff seemed professional (if robots are considered professional). My room was on the 27th floor. When I got off the elevator there was a bad smell in the hallway and it was full of trash (paper, cups, etc...). The hotel room was very clean but very small. What made up for the size of the room is the wonderful VIEW of downtown Detroit!! I only paid $13 to stay because I was using my expedia points but I would stay here again if I had to but the rate would have to be VERY low. I prefer MGM Hotel.

The staff was less than pleasent.Posted Apr 4, 2015
First of all I love going to Greektown to gamble and have fun. That being said I was really unhappy with the overall customer service. The lady at the desk was rude, the cards for our rooms didn't work in the elevator and then when they did they didn't work for our room and the staff seemed to Irritated to help us the entire time. Also you can't order room service after midnight on a Thursday. Overall the staff was just very unpleasent.
