Beautiful, renovated hotel!Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Comfortable bed and amazing breakfast!
Cons: The hotel room smelled like fresh paint, so perhaps some rooms should have been closed & aired out a bit longer (prior to use).
Location: We went to the palace for a concert - I wish we would have been told there was a free shuttle (as we missed it). We took a cab - not too bad : )
We loved our stay - friendly staff, beautiful/clean/comfy room. They had a great continental breakfast in the morning as well! The only downfall was the room sort of smelled like fresh paint, but we didn't notice after a bit. (The hotel was newly renovated)

Hotel under major renovationsPosted Oct 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
With major renovations underway, dusty carpets in elevators and hallways, pool closed, front entrance partially torn off, not the hotel you would want to enter. The front desk was however very friendly. Morning breakfast was very nice. The price per night should have been reduced because of the major renovations. The hotel room was dated.

Not true info on websitePosted Oct 17, 2013
The site said pool closed for renovations, however, upon arrival we were surprised to see the entire hotel under construction. There was not even a walk way up to the door. Then, the site said hot breakfast but when we showed up for it in the morning it was only bagels and toast. It was pretty irritating altogether and I will not be going back.

StayPosted Oct 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Wanted to stay close to The Palace. No issues with our stay. Hotel under construction but didn't effect us at all. Comfy beds. Front desk extremely helpful and pleasant to talk to. Helped with directions and late night pizza order. Kudos! Would stay again.

UNDER CONSTRUCTIONPosted Sep 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel should not be open during all the renovations. The Exterior was being stripped and stuccoed. Lots of debris floating around the cars and parking lot. Lost of construction materials in common areas. Now I know why they are offering such deals.. I may visit again AFTER it is completely renovated. Staff was friendly.

Hotel under ConstructionPosted Sep 23, 2013
Hotel very tired. Lights burnt out, lampshades damaged, sinks in bad shape and rugs dirty and stained.
