“Perfect Location”

the hotels location is perfect, nice safe neighborhood, close to comerica park, ford field, greektown, hard rock cafe, all within walking distance! and the hotel is very clean and comfortable!

“Location, location, location!”

Saw some other reviews knocking the Hilton for paid parking, but I've never been to a hotel in a big city that had free parking. We felt it was very fair. The location absolutely can't be beat! We visit the city quite often, and will definitely be back.

“Staff was amazing”

We went during the Christmas holidays and the hotel wasn't very busy. The staff helped us with every request we had and did so with a friendly attitude. I couldn't reccomend them more highly!

“Great location and value”

My husband and I stayed here for the second time. We loved it the first time (back when it first opened), but haven't stayed since because the rates had gone up. We were happy to find the rate significantly lower than other hotels on our most recent visit and jumped at the chance to stay there again. It is new, modern, spacious, and conveniently located near Comerica Park and Greektown--our two destinations. We left our car and walked everywhere we needed to go. Highly recommend!

“Great Place close to the Games.”

The hotel is 2 blocks from Comerica Park, Ford Field, and the Greektown Casino. I will definitely stay there again. The room was clean and very nice. Hotel staff is very friendly.

“Best for arts district”

After having tried several downtown hotels on business trips to Detroit -- all of which have involved attending arts events at Orchestra Hall or the Detroit Opera House -- I have settled on the Hilton Garden Inn as by far the best. It is conveniently located, comfortable and has all the necessities without pretentious frills. You can park and retrieve you car easily, have a wonderful breakfast and enjoy an excellent meal in the restaurant, which is open at all hours. The staff is courteous and helpful. All this at very reasonable rates and rooms are usually readily available. Five stars!

“Great night at the Hilton”

The Detroit HIlton Garden Inn was a wonderful night stay for a single woman. I was there on business and did walk down the two blocks to Greektown alone and felt safe and comfortable. The hotel staff was polite and friendly with suggestions as to whre I should have dinner. Of course, it was as busy in the evening as normal...the Tigers were out of town.

“A Very Decent Place to Stay”

I'm a woman of simple tastes. I want a comfy bed, a clean room, easy to control heating/AC and a bar fridge. The Hilton Garden Inn had all of this and it also had a microwave, which was a welcome bonus. The only special need we had was for extra coffee sachets which they were happy to provide at the front desk.
