“Hilton Garden InnĀ® Detroit Metro Airport”

The Hilton Garden Inn was one of the nicest hotel I've stayed in. The room was spacious and clean. Restaurant food was good. Service was friendly. Pool and workout area was great. Lobby was comforatable. For my purpose having the hotel located near the airport was an advantage. The hotel is located on a quiet street and within walking distance of a restaurant. The only negative was that you could hear the airplanes flying over the hotel. Despite that I was able to get a good night's sleep.

“Very nice for the price.”

We booked out room last minute and still got a reasonable rate for a Saturday night. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Somehow - I managed to burn myself (on a curling iron) during our stay and the front desk was speedy and resourceful in helping me treat my burn (no hospital required). Kudos to the evening staff !! Will be back if the opportunity arises! Thanks!

“Would stay at again!”

The only problem I had with this hotel was finding it. It's not visible from the main road, and when I called the man at the reception desk told me it was obscured by the Hampton.... what he forgot to mention is that the Hampton was obscured by the Sheraton, so that would have been a better reference point. The rates were great, I think they were definitely a steal. The area seemed safe and secure. I was highly satisfied with my room, it was very clean and the furnishings well maintained. Checking in and out was a breeze. I enjoyed the restaurant located in the lobby, it was a great (and again cheap!) option for breakfast. I was visiting family in the area and would most certainly book at this hotel again! It definitely exceeded my expectations.

“served the purpose”

Very nice hotel and a reasonable rate. Not far from Ford field. Very friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint is the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Well they could also enclose the outside area for smokers, but we always expect to freeze at any hotel lol

“Close to Detroit Metro Airport”

We needed a hotel close to the airport because of a very early flight the next day. We were greeted by very nice hotel staff and was offered shuttle service to airport. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

“It Does the Job”

The hotel was very nice for the price we paid. The only problem was the planes that fly very close over head and can be very noisy. But that is to be expected with an airport hotel. The staff was very friendly and I think I even got a free breakfast out of the deal.

“Convenient near the airport”

This is a good, clean hotel near the Detroit Airport. Their airport shuttle runs every 20 mins and the staff is very helpful in arranging any special accommodations.

“Detroit snowstorm”

As mentioned above, we were very happy to even get to the hotel on this particular evening. My only negative comment was that when we arrived downstairsthe following morning after 10:00 am to try and get something to eat, only to find that breakfast had been cleared (we knew we were late, but had arrived at the hotel very late the preceeding night). There would be no food served or offered until dinner - thus, no lunch. We had not eaten since the evening before, so we were a little hungry by the time we left to return to the airport. Ended up purchasing a couple of packages of crackers from the little store there.

“Was satisfied that I used this hotel”

Some minor problem in getting my door key to open door from parking lot. Disappointed in not having a minimal continental breakfast gratis and only seeing the costly lavish buffet breakfast set up in the lobby. Definitely gave a money grubbing atmosphere.
