“Great for a group outing!”

We were in the area for a hockey tournament. The Holiday Inn offered a central location. But it also offered a perfect weekend for several hockey teams and their parents to get together have fun and be comfortable. The facility is in good shape, the pool area and surrounding lounge area is designed well to accomodate lots of poeple; And the staff was incredibly gracious and fun!

“Definitely would return...”

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and could cater to anyone staying there. The rooms are large and clean, the bathroom is a good size, and there are the usual amenities. Our favorite part was the layout of the hotel and lobby. With the pool in the center it created an open environment that was quite scenic. There was also a game room and pool tables, which kids would love. The only downsize of the hotel is their cleaning staff: even if you have your 'do not disturb' sign on your door they still knock and make you sign saying you don't want your room cleaned. Kind of defeats the purpose of the sign if you ask me.

“Great hotel for traveling business person”

Like staying at this hotel, close to malls, restaurants and business associates. Price is reasonable and staff is friendly and efficient. Easy on and off from major hi-ways. Would stay here with family if traveling together. Hotel never seemed to be full so would be appreciated if rooms closer to front desk were offered instead of walking to rear of hotel.

“Nice amenities”

I chose this hotel because it was conveniently located to an expressway, various restaurants and a nice shopping mall. It has a nice pool (comfortably heated), jacuzzi and a spacious exercise room.

“Friendly and Updated”

This Holiday Inn, like others, apparently recently had a facelift. The entrance area and the exercise room are quite nice. Rooms still feel a little dated, but that may be inevitable, given the 1970s-era architecture. Staff was quite nice, buffet breakfast was very satisfactory, and they accommodated our dog (our MOST important criterion) quite well. Dog was $25 extra charge first day, then $10 each day thereafter. Nice pool and hot tub.

“Almost there-not quite yet.”

The Hotel is still in transition with upgrading, improvements being made. It is becoming very nice. At this time not quite there yet. The staff were awesome. We unfortunately had a room on New Years Eve that had broken heating. We did get a switch to a comfortable room. My complaint is" Why did they put us in a room to begin with that they knew the heating doesn't work.?..this is Michigan for goodness sakes.

“Not Bad”

Especially liked the sleep number beds and the choice of pillow type (soft-firm).
