Only one issue

Pros: Friendly staff......great breakfast.
Cons: Some type of checking system to ensure all rooms are cleaned.
Nice, clean hotel and would definitely stay there again. My only issue was with housekeeping....they arrived early and we asked if they could return in an hour. We quickly got ready and left for the day. Upon returning late that night, we discovered that the room had not been cleaned. Since it was late and we were tired, we chose not to call the front desk. We were up and gone early the next morning. If not for that issue, we would have given them a perfect rating.

Nice hotel close to detroit and auburn hills

Clean, comfortable. Great breakfast. Decent selection of hotvand cold items. Front desk staff could have been nicer.

Close to family

Cons: Lighting in the room was very dim, we had to move a lamp into the sitting area. Also, very warm in the bathroom/sitting area and cold by the beds.
Location: we were there for a family funeral
We were very happy with the staff and service. The breakfast was great as was the woman who provide it. We had 2 rooms of family and they got us very close together.

Poor Service !!!

I am not one to complain but in this case I must !!! When we checked in the girl behind the desk didn't seam to understand that I booked our room for two night and paid for it thru Hotels.com. Then the next morning when leaving for a Funeral (brother in law) we noticed the key didn't work to let us back into the room after eating breakfast. When my wife went to front desk the clerk said to her I thought you were checking out today ?? Got this corrected and went to funeral. When we retuned at 8:00 pm we went into our room only to find that it was never "Cleaned" !!! Called front desk and was told sorry about that and if I wanted clean towels for the 5 of us in my suite I can come to the front desk to get them.. I told the clerk - no that is your job to bring them to me and to pickup the dirty towels laying on the floor !! Never did get a sincere apology or offered any type of refund or other compensation for them not doing their job in the first place !!!

There were children running up and down the halls until about...11pm...we couldn't sleep until after mid nite...I'm not referring to just walking...but literally running their own race.They started about 8...and did it periodically until a little after 10;30 PM...We had planned to extend our stay...but instead we just came back home. it killed our anniversary.
