“Comfortable digs for a reasonable price”

The room and the hotel in general was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly. What more could you ask for in a very reasonablily priced hotel. Hotel offers a shuttle from the airport to the hotel - which makes regular pick-ups. State restrictions on cigarette smoking in hotel rooms aside, my stay at the hotel was very satisfactory. Access to taxi service, more interesting dining choices and better availability for general store purchases in the area would be more helpful to lodgers staying more than one day.

“Good stay for the night.”

We stayed at the Lexington for one night then took advantage of the airport shuttle. Our stay was great, breakfast was great and if we fly out of Detroit again we'll likely stay here again.

“Very convenient and good quality hotel at DTW”

I stay in this hotel every time I am traveling via DTW and need to spend a night. Very close to airport with a free shuttle - every 0.5 hour. Free internet. Free breakfast. Bob Evans within walking distance. Clean rooms. Friendly people at reception. Very reasonable price. What else we need when we travel and need to spend one night near airport of departure. Will stay there again.

“Need a place to grab a few winks - we would use Lexington Hotel Detroit Metro Airport again”

We needed a place to sleep overnight and found this hotel conveniently located, clean basic accomodations, gracious and helpful staff, and quiet even considering proximity to airport. We would stay at this hotel again.

“Very nice hotel near DTW”

We stayed overnight at the hotel before driving to Canada on the next day. We checked in around midnight. Their receptionist was fast and courteous. We were impressed with the quality of the lobby, the elevator and our room amenities (a fridge, a microwave, and free internet). The morning continental breakfast was good and the attendant was friendly and efficient. My sister forgot her shoes in the room when we checked out; we called when realizing that, and when we got back, her shoes were waiting for her in front of the room. We got a sales room rate as well.

“What a Gem”

What a gem of a hotel. Clean, comfortable, helpful staff, coffee in the room, desk with enough outlets, bright bathroom and comfortable bed. Plus the breakfast bar downstairs and the shuttle to the airport. This is now my hotel of choice at DTW. Also ate at Leonardo's which had some of the best Italian food I've eaten in years of travel. You won't be disappointed in either,.

“Good place”

This hotel was filled with young people, but it was still very quiet. The continental breakfast was very acceptable. It worked out very well for us to spend the night then take the shuttle to the airport. The shuttle driver was on time, was very friendly, and very helpful.

“From "Hello" to "Goodbye"- EXCELLENT!!”

Checking in at midnight- smiling, pleasant help. Shuttle service to car rental place and airport- friendly, helpful, professional. Room clean, very accommodating with microwave, mini-fridge, etc. Clean pool, neat, clean surrounding area. The best continental breakfast with wide variety of food and beverages. Smooth, hustle-free checkout. Staff - all of them- deserve some sort of prize, award, or recognition for the job well done. Thank you for making our stay comfortable!!!

“Good place on a budget”

We stayed here twice, Rooms 204 and 103. Both rooms were clean, neat and had most things we would want for the low price in Oct. and Nov. You only get one bar of soap and one bottle of shampo but enough towels and comfortable beds and pillows. Our room was clean and neat, not the newest hotel and the occasional small worn spot but for what you paid, its more than enough. The breakfast is spartan though so be prepared. The shuttle is not owned by the hotel and there can be mix ups but in the end they delivered, just plan ahead. They did pick us up after we dropped our rental car though and that was nice, we just had to wait a while for them. I'd recomend it to anyone who travels on a budget and can plan ahead. Only resturant within walking distance is Bob Evans, right next door.
