Right by the airport . . .OK for the money . . .Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: Price. Location.
Location: Beruit Restaurant has great food.
I booked this on Expedia and when I arrived they could not find the reservation. Good thing I had the Expedia paperwork. So I went out for dinner while the desk clerk, who was very nice, tried to figure it out. This place is older and partly a residential hotel. The guests for the most part are not business travelers. Overall rough around the edges. But the room seemed fairly clean. Old tube tv, crappy towels, really small soaps, and shampoo in those packs that are impossible to open when your hands are wet. So basically crummy. HOWEVER, it was only $32 plus tax so what am I complaining about. All in for $45 bucks or so . . . so what am I complaining about.

Very disgusting and creepy looking hotel.Posted Jan 26, 2015
Room was very uncomfortable and difficult to get settled. I couldn't believe that rooms in this condition were being marketed as hotel rooms. Not luxurious at all in any sense of the word.

Best value ever.Posted Jan 13, 2015
Cons: A little musty in entryway-newer softer towels
Location: Closest to airport and .2 miles from best middle eastern restaurant in area.
Very quiet. Beds and pillows perfect. Quiet heater. Shuttle was on time even with snowstorm and ice. Desk people were nice and friendly as well as attune to our needs. Extra blankets were warm so as not to turn heat up any higher than necessary. We were thrilled as a great start to our 1 month vacation. Exercise room was very well equipped. Best treadmill ever. It checked everything so you were kept mentally occupied while jogging. I'm getting one just like it.

Bare Necessities and CheapPosted Nov 22, 2014
Pros: The longest hallway in Detroit (according to the sign on the wall) WiFi was free with satisfactory speed for normal work
Cons: Magnuson has obviously seen better days. The room I was in looked run down and was dark.
If you use a motel as a roof and bed, not a place to hang out, Magnuson seemed okay to me. I was barely there except for sleeping. The television in my room was CRT and the shower water temp was difficult to control. That said, it was cheap.

Ok economy lodging.Posted Oct 13, 2014
Ok economy lodging. No blanket- only a thin cover over the sheet. No refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. No continental breakfast. Room painted nicely, in repair, clean.

You get what you pay forPosted Sep 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel needs major updating in every way. The positive of the hotel is it's real affordable place to stay. Sometimes you need a place to crash. I would stay here again cause of the price.
